Thread: Friends helping on BH missions

Obviously they can come and heal you, but they cant attack your target... unless it attacks them that is. So what I was wondering was, lets say you and your friend find your mark. Then ya'll duel each other and you are standing near the mark. Your friend shoots you w/ an area attack that hits the mark, and the mark then attacks him. Yall end duel and you start attacking the mark. Would this work?

I really dont think that BHer missions are that hard where you would need 2 people

I dont either, I just had the thought and its one of those annoying things where now I'm wondering if its possible.

I dont think it would work since the target it gray to the person that the mission doesnt belong to

Themarks will agro vehicles. If your friend rolls up to the mark and hops off his speeder. The mark will agro the speeder and in turn agro your friend.
At least its been reported that this happens.

For someone who calls himself Jango Fett..sure seems to be a wimp if you need help from a friend to kill a npc mark.

True, if you park your vehicle around you and attack, marks will use AE shots

Hardy har har. FYI, I'm MBH/MP/CM4xxx(Medic 0410) AND I have stim Ds, so I can heal the crap out of myself. The bosses are all easy to me. It was the comments of some people in this thread that brought the idea to my mind, however:

my mark was by some random jedi player once and it aggroed the jedi and disabled his av21

I keep seeing cases why my mark is attackable by others. I have had a mark turn up in the Dant. MO and I get there and find 2 other people beating on it.
I think the NPC marks are a bit bugged, and sometimes they wind up attackable by everyone. (my suspicion is that until you actually get close enough to see the mark on your radar, they remain unattackable by all , including you, but as soon as you get close enough to see ther con color on the radar, they change to a yellow dot, then everyone can have at them.)
In my hunting, I have noticed that if I get to the marks final location too fast,i dotn see the mark for a while, and there is a huge amount of lag beween when i get to the WP and when he actually spawns again, and that final respawn I think is where the mark changes from unattackable and respawns as attackable
Ill have to drag a ranger out with me to try and see if I can track a NPC mark before I see him on the radar, and have the Ranger go up and see whay the con status of the mark is before I get close enough to trigger a change.

Marks will aggro on other BH's. They will TRY to aggro on combatants, but it was fixed so they can't attack each other now. I've lost several swoops to other people's boss marks as I'm riding around on my swoop. Also, marks will aggro on faction NPC's in cities as well, but they will usually wipe the floor with them if you let the fight go on without attacking.
Good thing I carry around a crate of swoops... lol.
