Thread: Question you probably all have heard before.
no, you weren't wrong to run. it was your choice.
it's the jedi that run and then give hate tells that are the jerks.

I am a pure BHer so I may be biased but I think that once you have decided to fight you should finish the fight. I have attacked master Defenders that I knew after the first shot I wasn't going to beat and I still stayed and died honorable. If you run when I first attack I will usually only chase for a short period of time, however if you run because you decided to fight and now realize you are going to lose I will chase you for the next three days.
understood. thank you for the response.
The bh has the first strike ability. They can pick the place, time, and what buffs they need when they strike.
You, as a Jedi, at the first attack has the ability to either stay/flight.
During the fight, if you feel a tatical retreat is in order, it is yours to make.
No matter if what others think, you have really nothing to gain atm, and everything to lose. Better to live today and fight tomorrow.
It was your choice to tip him credits, I don't believe I would of. Since, if it was you laying on the ground, do you think he would of tip you half?

no he wouldn't have. You are right in that remark. Still the fact that I fought him and ran was enough for me to tip him for his effort. I don't tip all of them. But it was my decision to run and still he was very understanding of it. So i tipped him. If he wouldhave sent hate tells and such i wouldn't have.
Just my way of showing honor to him without dying i suppose. I know i probably ruined so of his armor as well. and because i know who he was any way. i felt it was necessasry.

You may stay and fight to die honorably, but you really have nothing to lose. When I go after jedi it's no big deal if they run away after 20 minutes. I have a jedi too, and I understand how much it sucks to lose 400k xp.
its annoying when they run, but I would just root u, lol , but nah cant blame u whatever keeps u from dying

the question i have is. I know how you don't like Jedi to run mostof the time. But do you think I was wrong in my decision to run after an over 20 minute fight?
Your decision was not wrong. Two instincts occur naturally - fight and flight. If you think you can win the fight, then fight. If not, then take off, even if it's 20 minutes into the battle. We, as BHs should be ready for that moment, though. This game is just like real hunting, just with a more intelligent prey.
As long as there is no exploiting, I would find you a worthy bounty. I don't want easy - I want exciting. I want you to outsmart me. Otherwise, I'd only choose NPCs.
