Thread: Have Bounty NPC Marks Gone Crazy?? Tanks Maybe be a bug

After killin my Mark about 2k out from restuss on Rori, Im driving back through restuss, already talking to a Smuggler about how we can improve on my New Carbine I just looted - And BOOM!! My bike gets blown out from under me -Obviously Annoyed,. i start tabbing around for the CL 3 Commoner that had the cheek to attack me.To My surprise - Nothing. Hmmm whats goin on? So I Flick my Overhead map on and hmm..., there isnt a Single Red or Yellow Dot on my Map.
Then i Notice a White dot on my Overhead running around the corner towards me - As soon as it gets in range of me, It turns Yellow for a second then Red and "You have been Knocked down". Wondering what the hell is going on, I Target and prepare to defend Myself an Low and Behold its a LvL 82 Boss Mark (DoubleGold Chevrons)?!? Im glad I stuck around to kill it - as i got a Superb Loot item from it but i Cant Fugure out how this attack came about - Especially as it started off as a White Con
Is this Normal?

Lol Im not going to brag about the loot - that wasnt the point of this post

Yep. This is correct.
And I have a sneaky thought that due to this reason, it causes those funky missions when your mark is right smack in the middle of a starport. If someone else kills it before you get there, all you see are white NPC's standing it thier place.
This only happens in/near starports for me.
MissionFails due to the mark being inDEEPwater or spawningOFF the map are another subject.
