Ok, i was a MBH, MR, CM4000 so that i could hunt jedi. I still havent really learned how to do that yet, having only killed one jedi out of about the 10 I have hunted, and i got to admit I just got lucky on that one. Although I like the Templete, i was originally a crafter, and no I did not respec, i grinded the profession out the old fashion way, i still like the idea of tinkering with stuff, and this templete is 100% combat related.

With that in mind,I am now grinding out a MBH, MSmuggler, Medic 0200. So my question is this, Can this templete kill a Jedi. I have good armor, good stims, decent weapons (just below the best stats) the best foods and drinks, and a medical droid for healing (i get around 1100 points a bacta shot). I can see where this templete has some major advantages over the original templete just by having the root ability, andI cant wait until i get to use the Last Ditch, not quite to that skill yet.

Basically I am wandering ifI will even have a chance against the Jedis or will I just be wasting the time and money to hunt them, and should just stick with the NPCs. Dont get me wrong, I like the new NPCs also, some of the Boss Marks can actually put up a fight and make you have to react a little, so I am ok if that is the only option left. I know that I will have to take a ton of jedi missions and getting killed a lot before I will learn how to bet them and use my new skills, but should I waste the time to try to do it, if I will never be able to take them.

I would love to hear everyones opinion on this, but if you have never used a similiar templete, please dont just tell me I am wasting my time. Thanks

Anyone can kill a Jedi. Its situational. When I was first starting out and completely naive, I killed a full template Jedi because he was too busy trying to figure out why he couldn't use the travel button on his ship.

Well i have a fellling youll be relying on last ditch alot if thats all the medic you have. But it is possible. Not all jedi have made wise choices in their template, and some have made good choices, but arent finished grinding.

You will be one shot incaping some jedi if you time last ditch right, and it doesnt miss them.

That's the template I have. I haven't tried any jedi yet, but I have a feeling that win or lose, it will be over with in a hurry. Like the poster above said, Last Ditch will likely be the whole key to the fight. If you time it right and hit, you have a very high chance of landing an incap. Bad part is thatit leaves you at 1 health, so if you don't get the incap you are basically dead. I'm thinking if you time it right, do a knockdown, then concussion shot, then back up a few steps and last ditch. If you succeed in landing the knockdown and concussion shot, you'll want to escape out for a second so you don't break the daze until you are ready for the last ditch shot.

I've read that last ditch does some crazy damage modifier like (max health - current heatlh) times 6. I've seen people report doing anywhere from 1200 damage to 10k damage in pvp depending on the enemy and timing of the shot. I've only used it a few times myself, and that was only on base turrets that weren't shooting at me. I wanted to get an idea of what kind of damage it woulddo when I was at certain points in health, but my group kept healing me.

I have seen the Stormie Slap move work to kill Jedi twice now but that tactic isnt very popular I know.
