i've never hunted jedi [currently 2444] but i would assume they are always on the move and finding them can be quite hard. would using the player track skill assist any in finding them? has anyone tried it?

Considering a tracking droid can locate your target within 0m of their location (even while cloaked)the only place where Area Track would be of use would be on Kashyyk where BH droids can not be used..

On another note, tracking is gonna be removed from the game. Even if it is helpful, you will lose it when the Ranger revamp is released.

it was when the TARGET OFFLINE bug was active all those mos. and it will soo be in the past. However I do sometimes Employ a Ranger on the AFK trails. but i wouldnt waste points on it personally.

I use it when I don't want to launch another droid or "look" like I'm tracking them down as a BH. The little droid popping outa my backpack gives it away if they're nearby or have friends waiting on me. Mostly it's just funny to watch cloakers move around with it, then have others run after their direction. Little use in the Jedi hunt, but I've used it on occasion to see if they're with friends hunting or alone. Saves having to do a drive by.
