How the hell do you ******* counter this?
All the time...statis and meditate....statis and meditate...just wasting my time. When it gets ugly....Root....Statis......FR2 for the win.
This is becoming very popular on my server. Much more than cloaking. I assume people are switching their templates from cloak to statis cause of the up coming nerf.

1: Hope to not be hit by it..
2: CM Paralize as your first strike, followed by stacking on CM effects

i guess if you had a weak NPC or creature always agro on you, the stasis would always break

The same way CM Paralyze can be countered.

You don't counter it.
A Jedi has a lot to lose by taking on a BH, Anything to avoid dying is OK in my book. The only problem I have is the DB-by-a-friend exploit.
If they're going to cloak, run, and hide in a building .. that's fine. stalk them, track them, wait 'til the come out. If they log off, camp until they log back on.
a BH has to be smarter, and faster than a Jedi to get the payout. If the Jedi gets the jump on you, and force runs/cloaks ... you should have been faster.

Get high ranged defence, I *believe* this gives some counter to it. And if you're not a mcm, use a bombdroid and suprise to get first strike...
...also - forcearmour has to be reapplied every 30mins, if you can camp out long enough, you should see it drop for a while before being reapplied.

first of all if he has stasis it means low defense it also means that if he wants to apply stasis on you he does not need to root you as he can catch up to you easy.. if they are using root then stasis its just a waste of force.
second... the Root > stasis > FR2? you mean Stasis > FR3.... master enhancer have FR3 jedi can't choose which FR they use and that tactic is simply an escape thing, yes its a pain in the butt but there is nothing you can do about it.
on the Stasis/meditate tactic it's simply to take a breather why shouldn't a certain jedi template be able to take a break from a fight to recover? MCM's can do it.. paralize... run away /sit and recover your your action and mind before paralize breaks. Any ranged fighter that has root can do the same.. just root run away and kneel/sit to recover your pools, there are no counters to those 2 moves... paralize and stasis are exactly the same they both break on dmg, why shouldn't a jedi be able to recover his force bar like that when the other 2 templates can?
on the cloak to stasis switch.. you are talking about a tier 4 skill to a master skill, that means they would have to totally change their template.

I'm not complaining about the stasis meditate thing. Meditate all you want...I'm usually full up on HAM anyways. The thing I hate is that they can easily stasis and abandon ship when things aren't going their way. They do this religiously. Even if I get the jump on them, all it takes it one push of a botton and they're on their way.
Suppose I'll start looking for low cl creatures to get them to attack me while I'm waiting on a Jedi.

stasis doesnt work every time, and once it does go though, you have higher resistance for the next time they try(ive been stasis'd A LOT)
