I just bumped a guide to the main page. That should help.
clicky
I've read the guide and found it OK but not really great info. Considering he posted the guide for jedi's on how to kill a MBH, MCM template on a Bounty Hunter forum, I find that a little disturbing but nonetheless it was ok. It doesn't really answer any of my questions above.
Can someone please answer the questions I have above? I would really really appreciate this.
Thanks in advance ![]()

It should have answered #4 on your list.
Yes my apologies, it did answer #4. Sorry about that. Thanks for giving me the link to that info. Can you give me tips on questions 1-3? I'd appreciate it Tarsis, especially on the dots and enhancers, etc.
Thanks!

Everything is going well as I played for about 4 hours last night and went from MBH, MCarb, CM 4000 to MBH, Combat Medic 4404, Carb 0440 so far. My final temp will be of course MBH, MCM, Carb 0400. Was just healing folks in a high level gurk group. I noticed a couple of things though:
1 - I tested this and maybe I was tired but the only way to get medical xp is actually healing people...I tried using ED and Dot's but if I just used those and didn't heal ..I didn't get any exp. I guess it "kinda" makes sense that way.
Healing in combat is the only way currently to get medical XP. Except for the heals, CM abilities don't grant any XP (they take any away either). The best way to get medical XP is to go in a group and don't attack. You can solo but XP would be divided between weapon and medical XP and you would need to heal yourself during the encounter.
2 - My dots failed about 50% of the time and I was wondering why. Is there any way to make it so the dots stick much more? I'm not MCM yet and was wondering if that was a big factor? I have heard about some kind of enhancers but don't know exactly what they are or even how to get them? Can they be bought on the bazaar and/or player vendors? What do I search them under?
To be effective with abilities you really need to get the fourth tier box in your chosen row or master CM, otherwise the mods that determine the stick rates are too low. Master Medic and skill attachments will help slightly, but for most people you need that 4th tier box.
Bio-Engineers make all the CM enhancers now. Enhancers improve damage on a DoT effect and improve duration on a debuffs from 10-20% depending on the power of the enhancer. To use an echancer you need to actually use the enhancer, using the ability will NOT use an enhancer in your inventory.
3 - As far as CA's and AA's....once I get +25 on all the weapon stuff (accuracy, speed, defenses, etc)....what other SEA's should I be getting? What about medical warfare and bio-suppression? Should I even bother getting those too?
Medical Warefare SEAs will add to the damage done with your DOTs
Bio-Suppression Eff effects the longevity of the debuffs such as traumatize and hemorrhagge.
4 - Just for the record and from what I've been reading..once I am ready to start practicing dueling jedi friends...is this basically the attack method? (see below)
Start attack:
Get within 10m of jedi
Paralyse
ED
Thyroid
Traumatize
Run out of melee range
KD
Imp Leg Shot
Adv Crit
Torso
Poison
Fire
Rinse and repeat KD, Imp Leg Shot, Adv Crit, Torso, etc.
Is this basically a "standard" attack method? I know different situations arise and it all depends on the tactics of different people, but I just wanted to know if this was basically the standard way of using the MCM template.
Thanks for listening and hope to hear your advice.
