Thread: Is this the cooldown timer exploit or do I just have too much speed? Video Inside
Cant really tell from the video.
Your shooting awfully fast, but need a combat log to see, and a mouse so we can see what specials you are clicking instead of hotkeying them.
Make sure the combat log has time stamps too.

nobody actually clicks on specials

Yeah, I know the video is rough.
I'll try to get some targets on Lok or Tat tonight. Those planets make much better vids.
The combat log on fights like that are goofy. It'll show 3 hits or more in 3 seconds but will then pause or hesitate for a second and then repeat. I'm on Bria and the lag is BAD, so I'm not sure if my shots that appear to be at the same time are lag induced. I'll try to take a snippet of a combat log and post it as well, but it gets messy fast.
I don't think I would be able to click he buttons fast enough. LOL. I doubt I can make a video w/o using the F-Keys.
Also, for reference I have NO speed tapes on me, normal 5000 energy resist comp armor + 2000 Resist PSG, and the gun I was using was a Featherweight FWG5:1.64 (base speed),1.01 (mod speed - possible reason for "double hits"?), 966 max dmg, 51 SAC (pup'd obviously). 42 Acc Bonus (reduced frompup)

I'm on the same server, and it looks likeordinary Bria lag to me. Nothing, then 2-3 shots in no time flat. I'm at 0.98 mod speed on my current pistol with a speed pup (full critical slice), shoots at about the same speed. I killed one of those 37k boss marks last night so fast that I didn't even need to heal once, ended at just over half health. Of course that was on Endor, one of the few planets that doesn't lag on Bria. If I'm on Lok or Dantooine the fights seem to drag on forever at times because of all the lag.
Ok, well I guess that answer I was looking for. The mark in the video was on Dant (at night) and while I had a good ping, I encountered typical "Bria Lag". In some parts of the video I was lighting numbers up on the marks head pretty fast but as you can see in other spots it goes in bursts. /shrug
I just wanted to make sure this was not "the exploit" because if so I personally see nothing wrong with it. If any Jedi say that this method of shooting is an exploit, get over it...
If there are people firing 2x as fast as what I was doing in the video then well... wow... that IS messed up and definitely a sploit.

I can attack at this sort of rate and im MBH/MCM pistols 0103... I actually have advice for you if you slap adv quickdraw on your toolbar too... and add that into the attack routine you are using you will see an exponential increase in your attack speed... just abalance it out with a low SAC weapon and action foods though.
Yeah I do that. I love it. It's not super fast or unbeatable though. What combinations do you use?
