What in the hell?

Ok so I've been a BH for about 2.5 weeks now. When i was almost into it I discovered that LLC was broken.. now that I've been into it for a while I upgraded my investigation and found that using a seeker droid causes me to crash.. and now... I buy a bit of equipment that I would think would be *VITAL* for a BH, a Shield Generator Mk3 (mind you I didn't spend a rediculous amount because the guy who sold it to me is a friend, but still) it was 948/948 durability, I was attacked outside of his house after I bought it, dealt 145 damage to my health pool and I used underhand on the creature and killed it.

So i decide to take a look at the stats on my new shield gen one more time and add them up.. lo and behold, it is now 0/948 after taking 1 shot. **edit**?!

So now list of broken things:
Shield Gens
Investigation
Seeker Droids
LLC...
Scatter Pistols

3 of the 4 things listed here prevent our advancement.. you'd think that with something like this it'd be fixed a little faster. I don't so much mind the LLC, but Scatter pistol isn't available on eclipse either.

So I crash from seekers when they succeed, they have an abnormal fail rate (but when they do, I am on my desktop with a quickness). LLC and Scatter pistol are unavailable,

Investigation takes *forever* to level in it's own right, I'd like to advance it to level 1 again, but then I can't do bounty missions.

and my brand new shield gen survived 1 shot before it was trashed.

Varvidos man, you gotta get on someone's ass.. this is crazy.

Why do you say that scatter pistols are broken? Mine works great.

My mistake I used the wrong words, it was late at night when I wrote the post.

Scatter pistols are indeed not *broken*. Our galaxy doesn't have a resource they require so they are non manufacturable.

The point, Zhekk, is that the MK3 dropped 948 durability points after I received 1 hit of damage. (for -145 health).

I believe Jarnis is making some scatter pistols but the stats are not to good for them yet.

Well what were you fighting? did you see -145 over your head or in the combat window? You must also consider that since the durability was low the decay resistance was probally very low also, thus if you were dealt a high hit the damage abosrbed is taken away inthe armor's durability and more so if the decay resistance is very low.

948 durability on a MK3 LOL...I honsetly hope you didnt pay more than 2k for it since any shield gen with durability under 1500 is worthless. Not to be rude but they arent broken your "friend" just sold you a worthless one. Scatter pistol's aren't broken...you said yourself your galaxy doesnt have them...so how can you say that Scatter Pistols are broken when you dont even own one?

Thanks for the info Bison, I'll make it a point to check his vendor when i'm around Espa for a hunt.

Zhekk: It was actually several spawns, but the only thing to hit me before I got burst run going and out of range was called "a capper soldier" I think. I didn't really get a good look. And the damage was over my head not in the window.. It still seems the itemhasresistanceat least it still has it's numbers on there, just halved.

I guess it just seems to me that only having been done that much damage it should last a little longer being the end all of the personal shield line and how vital it would be if I didn't have a creature to help me with bounties.

I know that I wear Ubese armor and my bounties still hit me in the 400 something range, and considering my health/action pools are 900 I don't stand up to it very long if they start on me.

Ok so we can at least all agree LLC are screwed to high hell, as for the shield gen..yeah dude yours was a POC but guess what I bought one with almost tripplethe conand it to did the same thing after one fight....there all POCs. You might as well just get yourself some armore....ow wait if your a wookie there just you can't. Scatter pistols lets see.....how is it that scout blasters a low lvl pistol can own a scatter pistol(aren't bh weapons suppose to be better than low lvl newb gun.) You see if you pay attention things tend to con different when you arm your various weapons...and things that con lower with the scatter pistol can woop my a$$ to high heaven so yes indead scatter pistols are not where they should be. As for investigation these guys that post here all say the same it's screwed so I didn't bother. but in the end we are still better than the others because we put in the work to get here...everyone else is just jelouse.

Down with the rest BH forever P.S any CSR reading this just fix us and we will shut up...I promise

Not broken, resources are meant to fluxate through time.

I am on Eclipse also. I have a scatter pistol made by Jarnis and it works fine. Two shot pk's easy.

Scatter Pistols rock.. I use one alone with my FWG5 and Laser Carbine. I would reccommend getting the EE3 for heat damage and the DXR6 for the acid damage. It is to your advantage if your mark is weaker in one of them to use that weapon.

eaze: Fluctuation I understand, however the resources on Eclipse are "unavailable". There is quite a difference. They do not exist anywhere. We do not have even broken LLCs on our server to my knowledge, since a patch from a while ago. And until Jarnis started making the scatters noone had resources for them, he's probably been buying those resources because he runs the biggest weapons shop I know of on Eclipse.


There are missing resources from our tables. Please don't assume that I'm just jumping to conclusions, I've talked to almost every builder of weapons I can find, they all repeat the same thing. "We could make them a while ago, but one of the patches made a resource disappear."
