Master Powers are difficult, but they can be taken down. Just do your best to stay within 15m just to ensure they dont get 20m and cloak.

Erhm...full template M. Powers dont need to cloak.
They will tear you apart. (Unless its the glasscannon template)
Choke bypasses all normal armor. Lightning also bypasses some of the armor (and if they have x4xx sabers, improved armor break will make lightning even more lethal.)

A well played M. Powers with for ex. Force Armor and x4xx sabers will make up for their lack of defense with devestating offense vs. nonjedi.

These templates are rare though, so it's possible you have not encountered them.

Ps. Also any smart M.Powers template has at least 3xxx Enhancer for Improved Force Speed (huge benefits with the zip-bars).
That also means they have force run and force supression(root). So even if they for some reason cant kill you(unlikely), it is very likely that they can just root you and cloak.

Thats when you use the Damage pup and keep them on the defensive healing rather than their offensive moves. I agree though, I well played master powers can be mean if they know what they're doing. I'm just saying a good BH can overcome there lack of defenses and use it against them to wear out their mind quickly.

Keeping a M.Powers on the defensive can be pretty damn hard. For one thing, choke will force you to heal regularly even by itself.
The thing is...(considering the jedi knows his stuff) when you lose that advantage they can turn the tables on you, very fast.
Suddenly you notice that it's you dealing with 400+ tick chokes, being rooted, armor broken, fried by lightning and if the jedi has really evil template...you are sapped as well.

Some examples on common M.Powers-templates (just general info/observations)

1. M.Powers, M. Enhancer, 4x4x Healer
-Stasis, FR3, Cloak, Root, Sap, Force Armor...you name it, this guy has it
-Unless you can surprise this guy, forget about it. Ultimate escape template.

2. M. Powers, M. Lightsabers, 4xx4 Enhancer
-The Glass Cannon template (other variants exist of course)
-This template is all about surprise attack and dealing massive damage in the first few seconds (enough to incap.)
-If alpha fails, this template is dead. But it has FR2, Root and Cloak for escape

3. M. Powers, x4xx Lightsabers, 34x2 Enhancer, 4x4x Healer
-Run. I mean it. This guy will eat you alive.
-Perhaps the best Powers-template vs. Nonjedi.
-Imp. Force Speed, Imp. Armor break, FR1, Root, Imp. Force Armor, Channel, Imp. Sap...
-Unless you can pull off a successful alphastrike, prepare to be owned. You might seem to be doing well for start, but Imp. FA is enough to keep this template alive for the next phase of the fight.
-In that phase you are sapped, choked, rooted, armor broken, KD:d, cooked to extra crispy by lightning and you propably see him swiging a saber at you as well.
-Needless to say, fighting this template toe to toe is extremely hard. You will be forced to a healingloop from which you cant really recover without running out of their range.
-Also this template has plenty in means of escape, FR1, Root, Cloak.

4. M. Powers, x4x4 Lightsabers, 34x2 Enhancer, 4xxx Healer
-Basically the template above with sap sacrificed for more lightsaber skills. Better vs. other jedi.
-This template has even more offense then the above one, but lack of sap makes this less effective against nonjedi.
-Make no mistake: This is also a VERY dangerous template and it will propably only take longer for him/her to keep you in that healing loop.

Hi All!

I just "regrinded" my character to MBH, MCM, MCARB x4xx.

What are some good tactics with my CM to use against a jedi mark? Im learning about CM and looking for some good BH advice on which debuffs are most effective, and a good order to use them in...

Thanks fellow BH'ers!!

Foods: Bofa, blob, and spiced tea. I take them as I fy out of kaadara sp so my stomach will gain space for later

Booster Blue when I engage, and exo-protein wafers for when I'm rooted/kd'd & AB

Armor: 7100energy resist and AB sliced Ris

Medical Droid, ruby + stims, and experience is what you'll need.

If I can, I call my droid, group it, and ask it to follow. I then walk up to my mark and /sit then I paralyze, electrolyte drain, traumatize, and thyroid rupture. I then ran back from my target and apply fire/poison and beat em down until I get the db. Reapply the stats as necessary. I will sometimes use hemmorrage, but most of the time I dont b/c there not cose enough t spamming attack and running out of action. So I stick with thyroid enhancers and traumatize enhancers. I hope this helps ya, If you have any other questions, ask away.
