Thread: Ok after some advice from the boards I got my first Jedi moments ago on kashykk

Ok armed with a bunch of advice on how to hunt Jedi on kashykk I got a mission and I set out about an hour ago. The only thing is , I ultimately did not use any of the great advice.
I got there and checked the starports, then checked the surrounding area outside the starport, headed out to the Ryatt trails and tried one instance, then another , no luck, I saw some other jedi showing off and decided to go back to the temrinal and try and pick up a missions for one of them (will not be able to do that Post pub 20) , I got back to the starport and changed my mind and said it was just too much effort,I was going back for one last try, asI approached the entrance of the trail I see my mark stroll out.
My heart jumped in my throat and i realized then and there whyI love this profession. I fumbled trying to pull out a pet as he got out his speeder. I then abandoned that and hopped on my speeder and started pursuing him, he took a different route back to the starport than I am used to.I did not want to tip him off soI lagged behind...I then lost him...I started ot panic.I could not believe I just lost my mark. I headed back tot he starport and ran to the ship terminal hopingI had not fumbled away such a precious chance. There he was!!!...getting his ship . Forget pets, forget startegy, forget the macros I never got a chance to set up....KD, Torso, Crit, Torso, Crit, Duelist, Torso, Crit, Torso, Crit...all this is happening inside the small booth..I see him bleeding..I start gaining the upper hand, my heart is in my throat..see , not only is this the first Jedi I get on kashykk...it is my first Jedi period ..I had never found my "real player"mark before...after countless tries,I wasconvinced I was the worst Bounty hunter in the galaxy....I never seemed to find anybody before this. I Incapacitate him, I death blow, I see the timer going off and I am holding my breath...it occurs to me that even after playing this game since launch, it is the first actual time I am death blowing with consequence, I was never a PvP player ...I get him, the job is done, my bank account fills up,I am trembling with excitement (the adrenaline rush was bizzarre).
I want to let all the BHs out there that come on the boards and read about all the successes yet never seem to have any of their own, to hang in there, it is possible, it can be done. After the fight, he was very gracious and told me "good Job" he also told me thatI had surprised the living daylights out of him. (he did seem to take a bunch of hits before reacting...).
Man it is going to be a while before I get to sleep.

Congrats,
I know what u mean about the rush from the hunt especialy with the chase building up to it and seeing him there. now imagine anpother bh coming up while uve been waiting ure mark out for about 30 min.s and uve lost every mark to logging out staying in space and being on kashyyk it was pretty hard to stop my fingers from trembleing that time.

congrats dude. ain't it a rush?win or lose it's a rush.
may your jedi spit nothing but pitted dates. You've learned why many of us stopped our FS unlocking grind cold in its tracks.

Well i am 2 for 2 , got my seccnd tonight after a long chase through talus and corellia, found the Jedi at the rebel park. I calmed down this time and pulled and grouped pet, took Neutron pixie ,I then strolled by , the mark was talking to a guild buddy and really did not suspect anything, i was not out of place at all . I then proceededto dropa level 69 Gaping spider hunter on him, KD, Crit, Torso,Crit, Torso...bingo, it was quick (i mean really quick) and I did not even get touched and the Spider did alot of damage. This one was a lower sub 100K cred mark,I did not want to push my luck after my earlier success. Took plenty of screenies.
He telled me I was preying on the weak but was just joking, we had a nice conversation after about Pub 20...no hard feelings from him.
Anyway I'll stop reporting on my kills now but I never imagined a 2 for 2 start after not finding a Jedi for so long....

Nice story. That's why I can never go anything but BH.
No profession gives me the adreline rush prior to engaging a mark.
