Thread: So will we lose the Terrain Negotiation from Scout?

so i guess that the terrian neg that we have from scout will be taken away and placed in the Ranger profession
with fr1 fr2 and fr3 all of which have bonuses to TN this move seems a little dumb(imo)
if this is whats going to happen why should BH be required to have one line from scout anymore?
anyone else a little worried about this move as having the terrian neg and burst run eff helps out alot for BH

I wonder if they will drop the requirement for the scout line and we can get some skill points back

TN mods in the Exploration line of Scout will remain as they are. Check out the Dev response to the Ranger Revamp: FAQ under the Dev Tracker.

Woooo gave me a scare there. Since they're takeing away our SL GTN, was wondering how I could possibly replace that.

I'd be mortified if I lost my Terrain negotiation. Kiting with a Rifle is difficult at the best of times!

Hey if we lose Terrain Negotiation it would fill up some more FS skills for ranged def and melee def
or open up doc skills to get bacta

doubt they will let us drop the line in scout as it used to be m marks/m scout now its just marks 0004 scout 4000

All Elite level Professions now have 2 lines as a pre-requisite so if we dropped scout, chances are we'd have to pick up something else.

I don't think SOE have it in them to introduce dynamic pre-requisites. And even if they did they'd probably get it wrong and bork the entire profession in doing so. Leave it as it is I say!
