if your a speed capped swordsman would be very good but otherwise imo it would just be to slow. And also don't use commando because that misses to much and is way to slow, get some medic, pistol, or some fencer def in there

Awesome idea for all droids this is as seen though my eyes

First step they need to make droids useful I would base it on a system so they are always useful based on your level. HOW? You might ask. I would use this formula (any programmer’s please modify this so it looks cool):

Values:

L = char’s base level

W = weapon components

A = armor component’s

V = 0-30 base level of droid.

M = misc. bonus for non combat class’s

How the base formula would be in my mind is (droid level = 1/2L+W+A+V) + M

Breakdown:

L = char’s base level so this way all attributes go into effect your char’s level will be how well you (control) or have (experience) with droids.

W = base components that a weapon smith can and should be able to make for a droid not required but will severely help with the droid level modifies 1-5 base level’s

A = as current armor best should be slightly lower then current assault armor. I’m not sure how armor break’s down after CU any armor smith’s want to put in a formula go for it. Another as a bonus is to be able to equip shield gen to a droid for extra protection at the cost of more energy being pulled from the battery.

Val = droid’s starting level so a mouse droid cannot equal a probot I know that has never happens but it annoys me seeing more R units in the field then probot’s. So level 0 would be a mouse droid a level 15 would be a base probot and a level 25 could be a base ADV probot where you may be able to get an extra 5 level in experimentation pending what you want to exp on.

M = would be for non combatant’s like artisans who need a body guard to get to there harvester on LOK or Dantoine some high level place that they have very little chance of getting to alive. Only because you can be a 3x master crafter and still be level 1 so I would say a plus 5 for every box in the experimentation tear (not for novice artisan however a master artisan should have a + 10)

Example:

Level 40 combatant using an experimented on probot level 19

A adv power handler from a weapon smith level 5

Armor that would increase it another 5

20*.5+5+5+19 = 39 level equivalent.
