i am MBH/MPistol xx3x Medic (+18 healing eff clothes though) and i hve a problem
i can heal pretty well (i woudln't say its my problem) but i can't damage most jedi enough. alot of fights get dragged on forever. my pistol is in my sig, and i use 8000 resist Energey armor, and lots of regen foods. no problem staying alive (most of the time) just have problems damageing them. Our ' great crowd control ' isn't that great. we have debuffs for thier damage, and accuracy, and defense (like -80 defense means anything to a master defender). but they all last like 20 seconds. If i shoot off a KD, critical, torso, in 5 - 6 seconds, and do 500 - 1500 dmg (big difference between aura and non-aura) they can usually heal 1500 anywyas (jedi heal is 1500 every seconds anyways) so we go back and forth forever untill i either slip up, or run out of foods while my stomach is still full. i've considered using bombdroids to load in alot of damage, but they're pretty limited in use, and only set the jedi back 1 heal anyways. Im seriously considering swtichign to MCM for the great debuffs and such.

im in pretty much the same boat as you. I had 2 nice long fights with full temped jedi's today and one was about 20 minutes until my action and mind finally died on me (the jedi had to eat a holo to stay alive).
I'm just gonna wait until they fix the Regen foods before i do someone crazy like change my template (check out the chef forums, they have hard numbers that indicate that all regen foods are definatly not working as intended).

I love pistols, and I have the same problem, the first couple weeks I was killing Jedi very quickly but then I started meeting more and more defenders and many full templates with some experience. My best pistol does 440-916 max dmg and it's nothing shiny but does the job for me since it has a low SAC, my tactic is to wear the Jedi out and it works 9 out of 10 times for me.
I stick a warning shot, eyeshot and occasionally intimidate shot (if it ever sticks) to keep the Jedi's damage a little lower and easier to hit, I don't spam stoppingshot unless the Jedi decides he has had enough and runs, and often times they use up their mind pool with infusion and heals and that's when you go all out on damage. Also if they try to do as much damage as they can to you, their action will be gone in less than a minute and you can try and keep them KD'd while their action is low as they'll get a "-Too Tired-" message until it regens and that gives you at least 2 or 3 free shots.
