For my template I prefer Battle Armor along with a good PSG, good all around stats if you have adecent Armorsmith. On Bria check El-Camino or Akexei (El-Camino sells some nice Bone stuff and Akexei is my AS we stock padded). Over all it depends on your template and what choices it affords you .

Template is MBH, M pistols and most of rifle.

Recon I like Ubese you can get it it energy layered to near 8k protection sacrifing alot of kinetic and primus layer to the 7500's or a bit higher. Might want to go with Faction armor though as it has a higher Cond therefore it would last you longer especially with good slice selections. Assault is fine also but it goes more towards Kinetic Protection than Energy and again Faction armor if you want it to last longer.

Check DXSQUAT in bastion on naboo, pricey but good armor.

Any player worth a damn will carry 2 sets of armor at all times. I use some 8100 Energy Ubese and some 8130 Kinetic BH Armor. Macro to where you can switch quickly between each.

That way you are prepared for anything.

any other armorsmith reccomendations? DXSQUAT's armor was only 7900 and he didnt seem to interested so I am looking for other options. Aany other reccomendations?

7965 if i am correct can't make it much better on bria and 100 points doesnt mean
