probably is possible, but you have to remember that the pvp oriented Jedi built their templates for melee defense.

Gives me a base defense of +314 melee/ +298 ranged defenses, plus CoB macro which adds another +500. Also gives me 7k resist innate armor (equivalent of).
With the katarn knuckler, I can stand toe-to-toe with a MDefender.

Why would you take bh all the way to master? you cant use any of the specials useing unarmed weapons so they are just wasted points. Sure youve got alog of defense (btw its 6k resist armor, not 7k) but thats never been my problem killing jedi, its keeping them from running into a hosue or other structure. All i see in your template is a KD; no snare, no root. Once a jedi gets tired of beating on you, hes just going to take off and theres nothing you can do to catch him before he gets inside.

Also, with no armor break in your template a MLS or even a 0404 LS jedi will crush you with theirs. The upper tier of armor break shears off 60% of your armor(yes it works against innate TK armor) so without some way to do that back to the jedi, you're getting sent to the cloner.
Im not tryin to rain on your parade, but i am pointing out to you that in the future when you fight higher level, compotent jedi you will get sent packing with that template. IMO a melee bh is just not worth it, you have to devote too many points to skills that dont help you at all(ranged support 4 is 29 wasted points for a melee profession). If the requirements were changed to ranged support 4 OR say one of the lines from the brawler profession, id give it more of a chance, but not the way the stytem is set up now

Nono. I also use rifles and pistols. FWG5 with over 1k dmg, and a laser rifle, then switch to melee for up close.
Must be annoying that your mark can just leave the combat anytime he wants due to your lack of roots/snares.

Is ranged support helpful to anyone really? That is the only "useless" skill that a melee bh has to take, and even that gives you some defense. He prolly has the full thing for 1) defenses and 2) so he can use the range weapons. Use range until they get in his face then switch to TK. IF/when a jedi tries to run whip out a large rifle or carb or pistol and KD /critical shot until you can get close. Oh and btw one of the grenades is "supposed" to have a snare and one a kd so if/when they fix that he will have a snare as well.
