Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: My experience today.
2. Found none in instance 2, checked instance 4, found heaps.
3. Wrote down names on a peice of paper and headed back to startport.
4. Searched BH terms for 30 minutes waiting for 1 of the names to show.
5. Got mark, spoke to informant, flew back to Kashyyyk.
6. Get through pre battle prep - food, armour, weapons, blah blah.
7. Mark is still there, good.
8. Wait for health to heal, then attack jedi sploiter.
9. Jedi runs to section of the map where i get the message -cannot see target-, then logs, preumably to play their alt or something.
10. I was a good deal of money on food, and time (I'd say 2 hrs) for this crap.
Jedi complain when the lose xp because it wastes their time, well this sure wasted my time. What a friggin' joke this has become. SOE may as well give out free jedi to every nub sploiter that wants one and drop BH as a profession in the game. This sort of thing is so game breaking for me I cant help but talk about it...
Hate to say this but true it is..
Part of the profession. You chose to be Bounty Hunter. Just don't give up. Go for the next target. You will not get your mark every time you set out for a hunt.
Game hunter's don't get something every time they go out.
If you can, find a way to learn from this situation andmonopolize from it. Rebuild. Chill for a sec and go back at it.

Exploits, bugs and any kind of game mechanic bending or metagaming are not and should not be part of the profession, regardless of which profession we're talking about. Most of all, they should not be a reason for someone who is not using them to his advantage, but instead is playing by the book, to fail at anything related to his chosen profession.
Anyway, if this keeps up, the jedi will be playing with themselves, in more ways than 1.
