I realise this may not be a problem for anyone else, but my typical hunt goes like this.
- Get mission, usually for 200k+ jedi.
- Find them in a combat group, usually in heavy combat.
- Attack, incapacitate within three shots.
- Fail to deathblow because of deathblow timer.
- Jedi heals once for 1500, turns on aura.
- Miss two out of three high damage specials, KD, root shots.
- Fight over.
Essentially, a jedi can simply turn on aura and not get hit again by any real special. The accuracy penalties for such specials are so large, and you can't outdamage their healing with basic ranged shot. I use Deuterium Pyro and accuracy pups, which gives a total accuracy of 600 or so, but I still miss two out of three damaging specials or roots. Is there any way to deal with this?

i guess you are lucky to find people not using aura to begin with and even luckier to incap them before they can heal.
anyway, for many folks force aura is all they have, when it drops theyll get hurt. normally their defense is 30-90-ish range without aura running. aura isnt the only thing that causes you to miss, there is still saber block, generally people will have 20-25%, not sure if valor is working right now but it can add 25 more % at a cost of damage output, the damage reduction was not working.
anywho, if you want to beat a person with master defender, its not going to happen easily, but i doubt you would incap one so fast. if you want to beat someone with just xx4x force defender, then just keep at him. if he isnt wise enough to mind his cool downs of his specials, he mightskip his aura when trying to attack then you canhurt him good. also each time he has to activate aura, its a good amount of force being burnt especially when youre using force for other things.
