Bounty Hunter Archive

Im just doing the old Investigation grind and Im curious as to what the cap is? Obviously its not the same as other caps where the amount is 2x your next box, Im still at novice and Ive got 7k xp banked up, when Ive done the grind in the past ive saved enough to train up to 2xxx all at once but Im wondering if I can do the whole tree this way.
