Read that post again. Debuffs trump buffs. It says nothing explicitly about the reverse being true.
Additionally, not every character in the game is a Jedi. Just because a combat medic might have trouble with YOU with it's slows and snares doesn't mean they're going to have trouble with everyone.

You're right. I misread what you wrote. My apologies.
However, not every template has those.
It's not bye bye Combat Medic. It's bye bye 30min - 1hour + fights. Which, I think everyone can agree is a GOOD THING!
CM was tad overpowered as a healing class anyway. It's a good thing. No combat medic could overtly kill me. Since I had 4xxxCM, I could out heal their paltry damage from their one line of a ranged class. The CM warefare stuff was a drain on me, but they couldn't outdamage my ability to heal. As a MRM, I could CERTAINLY outdamage their ability to heal.
I hope this adds to getting away from the "mind drain" that MCM has become again, like it was BEFORE the CU....

No more long fights exactly, Combat medics are not deadly because they hit fast or have high damage. First they debuff you then slowly tick your health away why they kite you with an ALR. You get them down to half life then they heal. Then your aura is about to drop so you have to re apply aura and infusion then heal because the the dots are working. Mean while the CM is just wacking away only having to heal himself for the 10 seconds you can actually attack him. He is a major force drainer because he can survive for awail. To beat a jedi all you have to do i outlast his force. No long fights = no dead Jedi. No BH is going to insta cap me. I have macros running 24/7.

and any good BH would time a shot just right to negate your macros from running for a few seconds until you realize they didn't retrigger and you have to do a /dump and restart them. And in that time, your dead.
Unless of course the Jedi Is a PvPer and knows that macros are just for casual gaming and not For PvP Or BH fights. I look at my ham and not the pretty colors during a fight. Also macros get overridden by any action that the player actually does. fighting with macros is dumb.

I'd be very wary of planning strategies that involve your opponent hesitating or making mistakes. In my experience-in many forms of competition-that's just asking to lose.
