Thread: Cloakers do fight

Ok I have encountered several cloakers, that come out of cloak and fight, not all cloakers run and hide, if the dev's would lower the exp loss I think more jedi would fight, I am sure some of you have jedi friends or jedi alts, you know that, re-grinding at the exp rate a jedi gets is no fun, I know as ambh I would not want to re-grind the investigation branch everytime I lost, my first elite profession in this game was a mbh I been playing since launch, hunted jedi the first day they went on the terminals, so I got a little experience in this area, I don't think cloak is overpowering and should not be moved, I just deal with it, its part of the life of a bounty hunter, things don't always go our way, I have to say I am not proud that I have to use cm in my template for sucess, a mbh should should be much more with bh skills, but like jedi, the dev's have so much in this game wrong.
I stalk my targets, watch them, I know if they can cloak 90% of the time before I engage them, thats part of the game play as a bh know your enemy, I have never been one to ride in with guns blazing, if you like that style thats cool. I play to have fun, I don't want to grief any one, even if the dev's system is a built in grief, to a point, if you play smart, you can have good fun content and marks will have fun to, I have NEVER recieved one hate tell, from a jedi, and my Jedi kill ratio is about 60-70% of all my marks, guess my play style might be different.

I will cloak when I see a blue most of the time, look at the situation, and decide if I am up for a duel depending what I am up to or about to logout or whatever. Most of the time, I hit my foods if any are missing (food is all I need to fight any BH), then I walk up to them and decloak and ask what they are hunting. Unforunately, this scares alot of them and 90% of the time they drop my mission. But I still get asked for non-DB duels, and I always honor them. And of course I know they dropped my mission at that point when we duel. If they won, I would of payed them their bounty even if they didn't ask for it.
Honestly I love fighting. I am getting more BHers that are asking me for a fair fight without taking my XP, and I honor it. And it's fun fighting them without the worry.
XP loss was originally (as many have pointed out) a system to prevent exploiting credits, not to control Jedi population. System has changed and it needs to be adapted. You won't have many runners afterwards, and honestly I think we would see more fun on both sides and an end to the hatred.
Look, I know alot of BHers enjoy taking the XP, but it should be about the fun, not XP loss. I am a full temp, but slowly migrating around, so I still want my XP. And I am now a casual grinder in no hurry, so XP is slow for me now. Sorry, Jedi grinding takes alot of time and boring hunting to do while constantly watching every blue dot, so I need a rest from it.

lol i like fighting bh's. I like killing them. But its at the point for me that its annoying. So i let them attack me. I cloak and wait for them to pull their bikes. I always kill their bike then i kill them. It's more fun that way.

I have cloak and I don't fight, I always run away. I'm not full-temp yet, I suck at pvp, I don't have any food, and I'm not risking my xp ever.

careful this can be a bad move - jedi spawns swoop - you kill it and activate the TEF - jeid then decloakes right on top of you at his leasure and can really hurt you...

How did I end up in the Jedi forum? I hit bounty hunter but....these aren't bounty hunters.
