Thread: would this template work?

I'm currently Master Commando/Master TK. All of these proposed commando changes are making me squirm and think of a different path. Here's my idea.
Master TK
0/4/4/0 commando
4/0/0/4 rifle
This will allow me flamethrower and rockets in commando, sniping and rifle speed increases in rifleman, and of course all that TK has to offer.
Anyone tried this, and does it work well? I'm looking for mainly PvP.

That template will be rendered useless in the next patch when def stacking is gone.

As of the next patch, defense stacking caused in this template won't happen, so this template won't be so godly...
I choose to stick with some commando as it comes in handy when taking/defending bases. Rockets do come in handy, so I plan on keeping that tree as well as flamethrower as it is still quite useful. I just don't see the worthiness of Master commando, and feel that 2 trees of rifleman will offer better support.
Has anyone tried this & does it work?

as i understand rang and melee devenc will still work but the special defances like doge counter attack and block wount stak tho they might have changed it sence last i checked

is a nasty pvp templat
but what you sed work good i gess tho i dont know why you want flame 4 line after next pach and hw hardly ever hit in pvp

Hi still trying to figure out a template to use, mainly for pve and was wondering if this would work. Master Rifleman, Master Pistoleer and BH 0/0/3/0. I would mainly target the mind pool and switch to my pistol when the enemy was up close and spam eye shot. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

If you have master rifleman you don't need to switch to pistols, even up close. I'm master rifleman/master marksman/pistoleer 0044/BH 3040. Prior to picking up BH again I was master swordsman/master rifleman which seemed to be one of the best templates for pve. As rifleman you can do alot of mind damage from a distance then when the enemy is up close switch to your sword and do 2handed head hit to finish em off. This template was great for hunting nightsisters. Also if a large mob attacks you have an excellent area attack from swordsman. As far as damage types go, swordsman gives you blast and kinetic while rifleman gives you energy, acid and stun. Hope this helps. I love pistols, but they just seem to be a waste.

i have only 127sp at the point...
i still have 48sp left to grind on....
anyone?
or should i change the MLS to 0404 and use that other 2 full tiers i have on something else...

4004 enchancer
4100 healer
0404 saber
its not too shabby really... altough i gotta say force meditate isnt really that essential if u have chn force...

mbh rifles 4044/ cm 4004 i never use cover, and thyroid n para be nice, n i can cover the mods i lose from rifle master skill box!

not like 20 hp matters when hunting jedi. although there are alot of mods u'd miss out in the master rifles box. only way it to test it and see

This template will work. One of my friends on my server is very successful with that exact template. Grated it has taken some time to get used to, but he does well.

i had a similar template (mbh/rifles 4044/doc 4000) a while back. keep in mind you'll have Rate of Fire problems because its not fully mitted...i was slow as heck, thats why i changed.

yeah thats what im worried about the things ill lose from master box really wont matter its just that armour rate of fire thign that would worry me bad, espically as being as fast as i am is my main thing
