Thread: Role-playing (or: how to shut up your last victim) *humour*

A typical day of the jedi-griefing, exp-ruining and money-making BH. You stare at the dead body of Jedi X, next to the smoking wreck of his AV-21, and the corpse of his Doctor alt who tried to rez him. So, just when you want to head back to grab a missionon the soon-to-be-cloned Jedi again, thus speeding up his venture towards the novice initiate box, the annoying tells come raining in, whining about your carefully honed and perfected, (insert acklay/krayt/dot/looted weapon here)-supported template. Dangit, a whiner!

But fear not ! there is always a way to (ab)use the term Roleplaying (thats what RPG stands for, its NOT a rocket launcher from an old shooter game (Hail to the King!)) to save the day !

Situation: You just KD/dizzied, then spammed HeadHit to death. It was short and without a chance

Template: TKM / BH 3040 / Pistoleer 0040

The Jedi calls it: overpowered, abusive, non-StarWars dabbler template

We call it: Jango Fett

Reasoning: "Sorry Mr. Jedi, in Attack of the Clones Jango goes hand-to-hand with Obi-Wan, and does quite well. Also, he was a master of pistols, and with this template I have almost all pistol certs. I just wanted to roleplay a Jango Fett type of BH and tried to fit the movie into the game"

Situation: He never managed to land a state or hit against your insanely stacked defense. Scatter-Hit to death! He had no chance.

Template: Fencer / BH 3040 / Pistoleer 0040

The Jedi calls it: damn defensive stacking acklay-baton abuser, you suxxorz!

We call it: Grammaton Cleric

Reasoning: "The movie Equilibrium is such an awesome piece of cinematic art that I just HAD to play one of those guys... I tried hard, but finally found a way to mix their cool fencing (with black batons *hint hint*) and the gunplay into a template ! Also, they wore black and dark grey, so my Gunmans Duster is perfectly in line with the vision!"

Situation: A classic one-shot kill with an insanely boosted Power Hammer to the head. Mind = zero instantly

Template: Swordman / BH 3040 /Pistoleer 0040

The Jedi calls it: lame dabbler template for taking down janta/mokk missions with overpowered weapons

We call it: Dante

Reasoning: "Man, I played Devil May Cry on the PS2, thats so ownage, I HAD to play someone like him. I am so glad I could fit handguns and swords into one template (note: use a cleaver when he can actually SEE you later on) and its so nice. Its totally roleplaying!"

Situation: after about 10 minutes, the poor Jedi died to your massively stacked dots in a galaxy far far away. You arrived barely in time to do the DB, and he couldnt find his corpse with the doctor alt cause you kited him so far.

Template: Master Pikeman / BH 3040 / Pistoleer 0040

The Jedi calls it: Damn FOTM dot pike lamer wannabe CM!

We call it: Kir Kanos

Reasoning: "Hey you gotta read the Crimson Empire comics, that guy Kir Kanos, he uses a pike man, and in the adventure Nightsaber for the Star Wars RPG, he has a level of Bounty Hunter (note, this is true. check out the official stats on him in the Nightsaber adventure on www.wizards.com in the star wars section, if you dont believe me ) so I HAD to play him. "

and last but not least.....

Situation: The Jedi came into the cantina. For some reason unknown (to him) you offered buffs with your Master Dancer title up, for half of what the other AFK bots ask for. The Jedi liked that, and since his doctor alt cant buff his mind, he asked you. You buffed his mind..... into the wrong direction. With a carbine. Now hes a smoldering pile of goo on the cantina floor.

Template: Master Dancer / BH 3400 /Novice Carbineer

The Jedi calls it: **edit** man was that? I paid j00!

We call it: Boba (the) Fett

Reasoning: "Man, you havent seen Fetts Vette?"

So, now whos saying melee templates dont make perfect roleplaying star wars sense

PS: ok my shuttle arrived, off to hunt another padawan!

Makes me wonder why I never dropped MBH for a Melee template...if only I had seen /respec coming.
