So, last time I was BH it was MTK/BH4xxx, then the CU hit so figured Id go MTKA MBH with reduced sp requirements. Found I didnt like the melee/ranged combo post CU so went to all melee.

Well, im tired of melee and now coming back as MBH/MCM and was wondering what strategies/specials those of you that have the template use. I cant get more than that other than a line of novice skill (prolly medical support) due to FS skills clogging me up.

I think if you want to do some serious jedi hunting, then you should drop your FS skills. You really need the accuracy/speed mods that having a line in an elite ranged weapon profession gives you. Even then your accuracy/damage output will be low, so I don't see how you can be effective without it.

Hunting jedi is not that important to me. Especially to drop 5 lines of FS skills.

Anyway, got another character on another server that Im going to bring over once I unlock, that last I played him was BH4233/ CM2000/ novice pistols heading to MBH/MCM/Pistols0004. He'll fill in for my BH fix I miss when the time comes. Just want to do other stuff with my main other than grind, grind, grind.

Just load up on the SEA's for Medical Warfare Efficiency, Bio-Suppresion Efficiency, and Healing Efficiency (BE Shirt gives +19) and get a set of RIS to place all the AA's on. Get some general ranged speed and pistol or whatever weapon you will be using attachments.

This is basically what I have, and I can stand toe to toe with most Jedi. Master Defenders are troublesome still however.

Shessh, a little excessive isnt it?

Those things might make you 5% better, but would set you back millions and millions. If you have limited funds concentrate on slicing armor for armor resist, food, and then the best gun you can craft or buy.

Those other things are for people who have too much money, they hardly make a difference. Butif you can afford them...

...by players that arent post CU jedi...yes. Honestly 9 times out of 10 the devs make the whiners better isntead of making the ones who dont care worse

When you say armor resist, you mean armor break resist?

Yes, my bad. Armor break resist is one of, if not the most important thing to take into consideration as a MCM/MBH.

Thanks for the advice. What are the best specials to use and when? Any specific?

Master Defenders are a little easier to take down as a MCM than with a CM4000... but I like my accuracy and my damage output too much to make that switch. I heal just fine and I don't worry too much unless I run into a Jedi with a pre-cu saber... They really need to fix those.
