Thread: An exploit?

Everyone knows about pistols with speeds under 1. Likewith theprenef scatter pistols with speeds of .7 with high damages.
I know even to this day that some still have pistols like these around.I was wondering if this is an exploit or if people are just complaining. Any answers to this would be appreciated.

Smoke em if ya got em. They will fall apart eventually. But yea it's a sploit because of the slice method used.

The speed on the weapon isn't capped it how fast you can attack. A .7 would still shoot a 1 attack per sec. if it were an exploit it would be pointless.

i then use charge shot to kd, strafe for damage/delay and then concussion shot till my skills recycle. this an exploit? i got ganked by 3 rebs other day, i concussionshot/panicshot em all till all 3 were mezed, i then healed and killed each 1by1. this an exploit? am i not allowed to use the skills i have learnt if a certain order? a delay shot after a mez, a mez after a KD? i got so much crap from peeps that the last thing i enjoyed in the game has turned to crap, constant hate mail, name calling, even some guy offering me a ride in his vehicle 100 times so i had a stupid box stuck on my screen.
anyways that why i post this, to find out, am i an exploiter? and if so why can i do this if not planned? kd has a timer, if my skills are not to be used 2gether, why arnt they on timers, such as food, this food wont stack etc.
if i cant use my skills to win, and i am exploiting, then i freaking give up, i only wanted smuggler for 40 second root, that got changed after the respec went.
and last thing, as rifleman smuggler, headshot and strafe is the best damage i dealexcept snipershot, which cant be done most of the time unless rooted/mezzed due to 20m min distance to target.
any info or othjer stories would be gratefull

People are just cranky...
They are releasing a patch though to stop spamming of mezes and this ability is going to go away.
People just hate it when they lose, especially when they are soo confident that they are going to win. They need to understand that a full template Smuggler can be a very tricky adversary.

Not an exploit at all, just using the skills that were given to you. Be warned though, once publish 20 goes live (assuming the bugs in it are ironed out) you won't be able to chain mez/daze as you did in this instance.

ty for responses, i can now tell these ppl were to look, i already have been a target of several fools, tell spaming and the nasty offera ride spam that sticks a big box on your screen 100 times to affect my line of sight.

If someone's doing this to you, you should report them to a CSR. This type of spamming actually causes some systems to crash, so is not to be tollerated.

Yea... good luck with that. I contacted a CSR about it, and they said they couldn't do anything about it unless they are there to witness it.
I'll be sure the next time I'm fighting a Jedi scum that I stop, write up a harrassment report, stay alive for the 3 hours it takes them to get to me so that the filthy mutherf*ckers can witness that kind of crap.
I was fighitng a Jedi during a BH fight not long ago, and two of his friends spammed /offerride faster than I could hit the escape button. After I incapped the Jedi, I couldn't even find him even though my targeting info said he was 10 meters away. I had to incap him twice before I could even begin to deathblow him, then these jerks said that I was "triple incap griefing him". WTH?
Good luck getting that crap fixed before the other 70 Jedi fixes/changes/publishes already enroute get put to publish.

ok that is B effing S! those caught doing that should be banned from the game. that is SO rediculous it makes me SICK.

I'd call that good tactics, but, of course, your opponents were the kind of people who think the only way anyone can beat them is exploiting for certainly no one is smarter or better than them...this is why I don't PvP. In general, I don't find much honor in it on the ground or space.
