ya you do, you need to get your cl up first either by the bh branches or by another combat prof

yeah, um that is stupid and it doesn't work either. i got all the rest of my BH skills (plus other stuff level 50)and i can't even get investigation 1 because i can't geta anything to spawn low enough level. clearly it is broken.

Howdy all - just tried my first Bounty Hunter mission there and have a problem
I am CL30 so decided to take a mission at lvl30 - when I got to my mark he is CL55! So i take another mission- lvl24 and this time my mark is 43 - this was the lowest mission I can take.
How do I do the missions - do I need to learn all the weapons first? Surely not!

Surely this is quite a simple fix? No?
It just seems a bit ludicrous that a bounty hunter cant do bounty missions.

I had exactly the same problem. I am now lvl 57 and I take lvl 60 - 70 missions and all my marks are well below my level! usually about 40 - 50.... 
I started on invest 1 at CL40 ... it is stupid that you canbecome aNovice BH and not be able to do the BH missions.

Problems with the missions is to be fixed in Pub20, so that the difficulty reflects the mob lvl. I'm not sure if that means that there will be low level targets
Either way, I always suggest getting an elite weapon profession before doing bh. Itmakes life much easier!
