Since i started playing again im still lost with the new system. I was wounder what specials you guys use vs Jedis? Do you open with some sort of stun effects like in the past then go for the KD? Oh yeah my template for now is MBH, Mcarbines and 4/0/0/0 cm

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke at me saying "Your next." They stopped that when i started doing it to them at funerals.

With your template you probably want to use Improved Underhand Shot for the ranged knockdown, Improved Critical Shot for the heavy damage and chance to critical, Improved Leg Shot for the same heavy damage as Improved Critical Shot (but with no chance to critical) and Improved Crippling Shot to snare (slow down) your opponent.

I'd normally start with a KD too - Underhand or Charge Shot. But I also am thinking changing - laying on a dizzy or stun (confusion shot) to begin, and waiting to see what they do.

I use snare (Crippling shot) a lot... to chase them I also use burstrun, /follow, and knock-downs. And a BARC. /Follow is handy because it will keep you as close as you can get, to prevent cloaking. And if you're a healer, you can take their damage...

I've found Stabilizers (at Medic 2000)lifts Root, which they usually apply before they start to run, although it only works maybe 20% of the time (that's a big-ish maybe... I've never kept track). There is an Improved version in Doc 0300, I think - if you want to put that many SP into a non-combat line.

Otherwise, alternating Advanced Critical with the Leg Shot will, eventuallytake down anyone not runningForce Aura in my experience, with a good carbine (800+ DPS p-upped). Normally your action runs out first and their heals start overtaking your damage again...

Ranged shot chained with Placed shot is a particulary nasty combination ... seriously.

Yeah i agree you should save stopping shot and KD for emegencies, if its a 140k bouty or 120k bounty. They are tough fights . The weaker jedi, like the 50k and 70k and 90k bounties, use stopping shot right away and own them. Also, give up Mcarbines. get Master Combat med so you can hunt Master Jedi. Not even my Master Rifle MBH, stopping shot temp can kill Jed-eye masters. If you are Mrf=ifleman BH, use a combo of Adv Startle shot ( it stops them from healing or attacking) and Adv head shot. IHead shot does heavy damage and recharges quickly, and can long range Deathblow.

Use stoppiung shot if they try to run, the only problem is interfering JEDI friends always offer Jedi rides to escape you, and there is no TEF on THese aiding and abetting N00bs rvehicles.

Will a MMarks,Mrifle,Mbh,0002 pistoleer be able to hang on jedi hunts? I dont like the idea of having to have med,but would like to be able to hunt jedi with just buffs, food, stims.I hear you need CM to be able to take them and wondered if its true.

Although I tend to open with Improved Underhand Shot to knock them down, I will most likely be changing my tactics. I find that I'd rather open with some vanilla high damage attacks and see how they respond. Using KD's and roots blindly generally means you don't have them ready when you really need them, like when you opponent tries to flee or they're right up on you dealing damage.

Briwi give up pistoleer and get combat medics. startle shot only delays a jedi for 10 secs and takes 25 secs to reload, before you can starle again. By that time a jedi can Force run for the border. advances stopping shot is better pistol 0 0 0 3. but heres the problem: Jedi heal repeated ly frequenbtly. You need to do the same top even the fight. Get Combat medic 4 0 0 0 instead of pistoleer.

Oh yeah and publish twenty sucks and so do the devs.
