im about to do the same and i also like carbines (especially the proton carb)

But i have a few conserns. Im unsurse if i shoudl go carb x.4.x.x or pistol x.x.x.4

Pistols offer a nice root and some defences at the expence of accuracy.
Scatter pistol has kenetic damage so damage will no be redused by PSG's

Carbines offers accuracy, a snare (cripple) and a second high dmg move (imp leg hit).
As far as i know, theres not a kenetic dmg carbine but the carbines offer longer range and a better damage (especially min dmg). Cripple shot stacks with the CM electrolyte drain but how much it reduces movement and what the effect on FR2-FR3 is im very interessted in knowing or is it as viable as stoppingshot?

there is a kinetic carbine .... czerka i killed a few jedi allready with those if they used a PSG.... with decent Gorax shards u get a nice weapon.... my one is 73 and 908dmg unpuped ....

Good advice keep it coming! How well does Nym's carbine work? I talked to a BH in game and he loves using it against jedi for the elemental damage it does. I definately be picking up a czerka though
