IS the double teaming of jedi considered an exploit? I'm assuming so since every "how to" post on the forums has been deleted, and if it is - should I be reporting them if it happens? Fortunately no ones gotten my jedi but - just asking.

if both ppl have the mission, then its not double teaming, however, if onbly 1 has the mission, and the other person somehow manages to attack, and keeps attacking, then that person is considered to be exploiting

I personally don't think it's an exploit. Most of the old school (myself included) have been telling these noobs to grow a pair and deal with it. But you know how it goes...it's just another thing for them to whine about like being forced into PVP.

Ok from my experience. It cant be an exploit! I had3 Jedi now i ran into another bounty hunter and we have grouped. one got away then logged off, The 2nd diedbut i got the reward even tho the other guy was fighting for a 30min. The guy uncloaked because he did not think that more than one Bounty hunter can get the same mission, the last Jedi, me and the bh grouped during the mission and we both got money, we slit 226k at 113Kea.

I tried to pull the same mish one time with another BH friend but it took so long to find the same amounts and matches so we gave up.

actually - theres a specific way for 2 BH to pull the same mission - the how-tos were deleted off this board twice yesterday - So if knowing how to do it is against the rules - exploit?

nah, they prolly got deleted for jedi flameing. Make a post with the how to so it doesn't get flamed. About time the devs tossed us a bone.

its quite common to get the same bh mission. Its simple probabality and statistics. Especially late at night when there are less jedi online. The chances are greatest then.I have double/tripled-teamed with guild mates and non guildmates often. Not every mission but it does happen. I use teamspeak and we always tell each other who's mission we got and often i hear from other players "hey, i got that guy too"!

If your the only reb, imp, or neutralonline then you can easily get ganked as all you have to do is refresh the terms til you get the correct faction mission.

Possibly - not sure - seen a particular pair working together - will keep better track - on the jedi boards there were links explaining how its done - links to threads here - that were deleted. Samous - thanks for checking....

Could someone PM me with more specific details on the tactics in question?

Is it not within the working sytem for two or more BH to take the same mission. I understand it takes a lot of work, but if that's what you want to invest into the game, why not?

I have taken misisons and been very fustraited when the Jedi dispatched me with what appeared to be no effort on his part what so ever. Insted of cryng nerf, I overcame and brought help the next time.

Here is how I've done it. ((Remember, lots of determination and work goes into it))

Take misson, call prob. Send seeker get name.

Give planet and name to partner.

Partner takes missions and sends droids till he gets same planet. Then sends seeker to verify same target.

Rinse and repeat untill both have same mission.

Sometimes the missions have to aborted becasue we can not match targets, or when we do, the Jedi logs off. But it is fun when we can both take the same mission.

Sometimes I just happen to spot another BH stocking my mark. I always offer to team up.

If there anohter way?

Thats pretty much the only way you can do that i know of as Zemon stated. Takes some time. If you get 5 bounty hunters and just take for example, rebel missions, chances are high that 2 out of those 5 bhs will get the same mission after 2 or 3 aborted missions. Also the jedi with the most visibility points is highly likely to be listed in each terminal refresh than other jedis.

Simple probablity and statistics in a random system that has medium factor of prediction. Now if there is a way for 2 players to bug a terminal to get the same mission then that is an exploit. I have heard of a way but I never got it to work. not that i was trying to exploit,. just to see if it was a possible bug.

I would agree, but ya know Jedi are not what they once were. Its not about "growing a pair." When a Jedi has a hard time withone MBH/MCM you can imagine the difficulty involving 2 or 3. Now, that being said, there is indeed an exploit to pull the same mission easily, if someone abuses the system, in my mind that is an exploit. Now if you team up with a BH for the same mark... well thats just smart.

I know its hard to discern between them and rightly so, but the point is that it is indeed possible as has been posted and justly deleted to pull the same mission easily and consistently, and for this reason Jedi indeed have a reason to be upset.
