Thread: Anyone do well with a lower CL template.

I'm thinking of trying something new.
How much health do you lose per level?
Is anyone killing full template jedi with a cl75, 76, 77ish dabbler type template?

I'll tell you this, doesnt pertain much to BH though. I had a temp.....MPikes/MBrawler/Swords0034/Doc4004, it made me CL76.
with the right foods, armor and weapon I was sick in PvP. Taking CL80's np....most BH's np (CM's gave me a hard time but were not unbeatable)....most Jedi np (same here MDef were a bear). It is possible, but I never tried it with a ranged prof.
The only diff in PvP is ur health you don't suffer the penalties that you would say fighting a class 80 or above NPC.

Well I was thinking,MBH/Pistol 4404/Doc 4000. Its CL 77. The mods dont look that bad, was just wondering if anyone has been useing a sub CL80 template with any success.
Or with SEAs maybe Pistol 4004/Doc 4004 with MBH.

CL doesn't have any impacton damage inPvP. Its only used in PvE damage calculations. If you always hunt in a group when doing PvE, then as long as you've got someone who's CL80 with you, then it won't impact you there either. The only major downside, though, is that I don't think you'll have 3000 health if you're not CL80. However, with health enhanced armor and food, you can minimize that downside by quite a bit. I've thought about it myself, but I do too much solo PvE to want to give up CL80.
