Allright to start off with I am a BH. This is why they fixed it. There was an exploit that a BH could do to where the jedi couldnt attack back and the BH nor the jedi gained a tef. What happend was the BH would /duel the jedi then attack him. Well since the jedi never dueled back he couldnt attack back. until he did /duel to the BH but since the game realized it to be a duel instead of a BH vs mission. The could just do /duel;/end and repeat the whole thing. The is the whole reason the Devs made it to where you cantduel an attackable target. Well coincidently they also made it to where a jedi could check the BH. And yes i do hate getting spammed /duel /end on the rryatt trail but the devs put that part in publish 19 for the reason of the BH exploiting. Yes I know some of us BHs didnt ever do the exploit but some did and that is the reason.

I think most people realise why the change was made, what people object to is the Devs removing one exploit and replacing it with another. But then again the current crop of devs are none too bright so I suppose a change of exploits is the best we could hope for.

some dont and it gets really annoying when you have an arguement with them.

yes they fixed a bug, why did they have to introduce a new one?

well I really couldnt think of another way. Being that this exploit worked both ways I.E. The jedi did /duel first.

have a automiticaly refuse all duel request, like they have for groups, when thats turned on the person who initiated the duel will just get " <name> has declined your challange", this would be in addidtion to how it works now.

What amazes me is that as Benkei points out, this suggestion has been made numerous times, plus it is a very obvious solution and probably none too hard to code, but it hasn't been implemented and probably won't be implemented for ages if ever!
Here's hoping that I'm wrong and it will be added to pub 20, or 21 at least! (I would bet a months salary it won't be tho!!)
