How important is accuracy vs. defenses in projecting your hit-to-miss ratio? Im wondering this because I have lots of template ideas but I'm trying to figure out if there is a big difference between 140 acc, 180 acc, and 215 acc? I know accuracy vs. defenses has a small effect on dmg but the hit-to-miss ratio is more important to me than the slight dmg boost of more accuracy. Has anyone done any tests on this?

FINALLY! A good question, although probably mentioned before, but still good pops up out of the fray of the "nerf,exploit,n00b" laden forum.
If not an answer, at least a direction that this noble person can go in order to better understand his direction in this game!
Bravo!
I am by no means an authority on this subject. I always thought that accuracy and defense were tied in by both chance to hit and damage. I will mark this thread as I too am quite intersted.

Some perspective from a Jedi here....
When you see +block+ +block+ +block+-miss- -miss- -miss- you knowwe havevalor and aura up and are likely at least a 0044 defender / 0004 Lightsaber Jedi.
As a Jedi with 4444 LS and 0344 Defender I can avoid a lot of damage from a Bounty Hunter by using Aura and Valor,I can further augment that by eating foods too.
My ranged defense mod is +160 right now when I finish my template it will be +185(not going MDEF). With Master LightsaberI will have +25 block with Valor off and I think advanced Valor adds an additional +25 (I might be mistaken)
The more accurate someone shooting at me is (or the better the +number to accuracy is), the better the chances are that you will hit me for damage.
So in a nutshell accuracy tapes are worth thier weight in gold to both you BH and us Jedi.

yeah. i think this pretty much sums it up. accuracy and defense have inverse relationships. however, where your accuracy vs. the opponents defense determines whether they hit you or not, it also determines how much of a damage modifier is applied to the damaged received. The bigger the difference, the bigger the modifier. If I am wrong, i invite correciton.
