Thread: Aura, to Have or Not to Have?

I guess that would be a question of whether or not you have master enhancer, so that you can statis + FR3 because without Aura it's easy money.
Either they better hurry up with force rank, with good mods for forcearmour, or hurry up and nerf AURA so I can fix my Jedi template because the suspense is me, and there's no way the devs intended so that every Jedi who doesn't have aura is a sitting duck..
How canthere be balance when 1 skill (1 branch of a skill tree profession, 0040 Defender = 500 defences, whichcannot be "broken" with an armourbreak unlike forcearmour, but only forcebreached by a master wierlder, and untill all Jedi are forced Overt so that I can takea BH Ganking Squad after thesetemplates that think they're invincible

WOW u realy have no clue what you are saying, its just a mangled mess of spam. if you do have a jedi you must have bought it...

I have no idea?
If you dont have Aura, You will die in about 5 shots, regardless of healing ability, the only thing that will save you is synthsteakand running for 150 seconds for the BH tef to die and you can escape into a house.
Why should a Jedi with 1 branch be that much better than one with out said branch?
Because the game is unbalanced, when they Nerf Aura, we'll know who is really lost........

It's on this board becase Ifeel sorry for the poor suckers who don't have Aura,and go down in less than 10 shots, who don't even get a chance to fight back. Compared to the ones with Aura who kill me 1/2 the time....
When I meet a Jedi without aura, who gives me a shred of a challenge, I'll delete this thread.
I am a Bounty Hunter, This board is very relevant, as every mission I get who has aura = a challenge, as to where when they dont it's not even a fight.

there are many without aura or any skillboxes in the defence line at all.
I know of 2 that do just fine against anyone. Its all about knowing your skills and how to use them.

Ok, strange this is in BH forum; however...
I know many Jedi with No Defender whatsoever, and they do just fine. Force Armor is a good alternative, even without the Aura.
Do you even realize how the Aura works? Do you realize it is just like COB from a Melee Profession, and is NOT anymore powerful than a COB?
If you are someone that wants the Aura nerfed, then you are also asking every Melee profession to get their COB nerfed.
As for Jedi not having Aura... My Husband has No Defender, and no Aura, and has not lost to a BH in a LONG LONG time, and can take the frontline if needed, he is not an easy kill for anything. So if you think not having Aura makes a Jedi an easy kill, you have no idea what you are talking about.
There is a reason 'melee and defenders' have COB and AURA, they are at the front lines, not standing back taking shots out of damage range from other melee professions.
And again, as for Jedi, you can do quite well without Aura, I have seen it, and know many Jedi that would smack you up side the head if you told them that by them not having Aura they are and easy kill... Because they are not.
As for the nerf everything people, you do realize if one thing gets nerfed and upsets any part of the balance they are working on, then additional nerfs will happen to other professions to compensate for it.
If you don't believe this, look at BHs and Jedi, one gets nerfed, then the other profession gets another nerf to equalize the game. Everytime power is taken from either side, the other side eventually loses power as well.
Jedi asking for Jedi or BH nerfs are insane, and BHs asking for Jedi or BH nerfs are also insane. It will eventually affect your profession.
This game works both ways, we need to really think about what we ask for, as we just might get it.

I can almost guarantee that thew new FRS will not involve a permanent GCW TEF. The recent changes to the player bounty system and the Dev statements about wanting to remove ganking from player bounties coroburate this. It would be too easy for bounty hunters to walk around with an overt squad and kill Jedi in this way because with the changes to the way visibility is gained now, the majority of Jedi on the terminals are full template and will be Knights in the new FRS.

While you call yourself a bh... others may say different... especially with a thread like this x_x. There are alternatives to aura, and no, there are plenty of jedi on my server without it who can take way more then 10 hits, and can heal very well... even on the jedi forums, this would seem like an idiotic thread.... please actually hunt a jedi before posting =) npc marks don't count... kthxbye
