If I have a damage capped and SAC capped pistol what should i slice it for?

If your pistol is damage capped in the crafting process it will not be damage slicable. You are left with speed and critical as your choices. For the most part weapons can not reach the actual cap with a damage slice, slicing caps are lower.

Exactly, damage capped is just that...it cant be sliced for more damage, I would slice for speed and put a damage PUP on it.

couldn't you slice it for damage to raise the min up? i thought i read somewhere you can still slice daamage to rasie the min damage . if its possiable i would mix it up to raise your min damage then speed or crit.

what's up with all the critical shot groupies? if its damage is capped it's better to get it speed sliced. combat cycles will be faster, which is more important if you're hunting jedi.

You reach a point in speed where you can not get any faster.A gun with a modified speed of under a second, and a gun with a modified speed of 1.20 is the same. Critical rocks, you should try slicing it like that, even on a non high end gun, the extra amount of damage you get once in every ten shots rocks.

this is only true if you are spamming special attacks. if you alternate between ranged shot/placed shot the speed of the weapon matters. it also affects how quickly you can get on to the next combat round, which is imporant if you are healing. we're talking about split seconds here, but still, two tenths of a second during combat IS noticeable and can make a huge difference when fighting jedi.

You reach a point in speed where you can NOT get any faster. If he is at that point his dps on his gun might go up, but what good is it if he hits at the same speed? Getting a critical slice rocks, especially if you throw an SAC powerup on your weapon. You could be right,I could be right, all depends on his modified speed. Just saying, critcal chance slices rock.
