Thread: Stims or Medic... MBH or Msomething else

i am at a point where i need to drop excess skills to focus on finalizing my templet.

If you know of a link that goes into good detail on templet making for BH please post link but so far the info i have found is very vague.


Question on medical skills vs Stims


As a combat medic i can use three heals one after another. Spray (45%recovery), shot(75%), and toss(55%). and by the timei used all three the cooldown has all rdy resetted.

If i drop combat medic and buy ahuge budle of stims...Does stims healany where near the amount of damage recovery that medicalskillshas. Also is there a long cooldown time on using stims... i wouldnt want to be stuck being able to only us one stim per minute.


As for mastering Bounty hunter. Should i worry much about defense points i gain from skills or will equipment be the deciding factor for defense. using a profession calc i can get about 200 ranged and melee D using a MBH and not getting any other Novice skills beside markman and scout. So is it safe to scarafice a few +5's because Equipment will make it up.


Also MBH skills are they useful. So far i have found underhand shot more usefull than roots, but i wonder about the other skills such has critshot and the one causing blind and bleed. are effects like blind and bleed useful in PVP or are they only for PVE.


Current templet iam approaching is


MBH, Mpistoleer, then get either depending on what i find out about stims.


Mastermarksman+force sensitivity = 185 melee 205 ranged Def.

or

Combatmedic 4000+force sensitivity = 200 ranged and melee Def

can you still heal other with out any medical skills... i mean lacking even medic novice can i heal others with stims???

Stims = yourself only.

Novice Medic + 110 medical droid = 1000 on the bacta spray.
