Thread: Why would you prefer a high cap scatter over a rifle of sorts?

Depends on your profession, I'm a riflesman and I love my Heavy Lightning Rifle with 1344 max dmg (pupped 1304 base + 40 ele).
If you're ap pistoleer go for the pistol.
If youre both, switch to pistol when jedi gets near and back to rifle when he's far

I gotta talk to my weaponsmith friend about the heavy lightning rifle...I want one.

Heavy Lightning Rifle? Are you sure? I can't find any information on it, and have never heard of one.

I use a FT FWG5, just because I looted a sweet boone for it. Its greta for paddy killing, althoough I can't absorb MLS 0/0/04 enhancer, damage.

people keep posting their uber weapons stats like 1300+ dmg yet there is not a single weapon with a max dmg over 1100 on any vendor listed on the bazaar in the entire galaxy. :-\

Was just added... nice rifle altho I would sell my children (if i had any) for one that does that much dmg... mine is just over 1k atm. Have yet to see one that good or even close on my server at least

I've recently been thinking of this and I can see two strong points to a High Capacity Scatter. The most important aspect of the weapon to me is the fact that it deals Kinetic Damage at a very good rate. These weapons easily reach 300+ DPS which leads to the other strong point of the Scatter - it tends to have a really good speed and is easiliy capable of firing at a substantial speed.

1000 x 0.35 (dmg pup) + 1000 = 1350
No, there are no 1300 dmg weps without pups.
