Thread: need a tip on getting boss marks with gold ranking

the title pretty much says it I'm looking for info and tips on locating the missions for the gold ranked boss marks. I am trying to prefect my skills against them and wish to get one per day.

im pretty sure it's random, but try takinf only 31k missions, i've done that and gotten about 2 out fo 10 missiosn bosses.


Best way to ensure you get a boss mark is just to take more missions each day

I have been making sure the title says swoop leader, crime boss etc. I get a good number of chevrons, 1 out of 10 is a normal mark. But it might just be all random, and I dont hunt more than 3 hours a day.

It seems to be completely random. Ive grabbed low payouts and high and have gotten them on both. Just takes time.

u dont want them they drop crap loot not worth it i cry when i get them i like the 7k ham ones takes 30 secs

I get elite & gold ranked boss mobs off chosing missions with a name before the bounty hunters guild.. or the bib fortuna ones. Not saying that is the only way, but out of the 6 of the XXXXX's bounty hunter guild ones I've done I've got 2 bosses and 4 elites. I have also got them from random normal 30k mission payouts too.. is it a pattern? or am I just lucky? who knows

My experience too. I got skill tapes and more armor schematics from the cl77 missions then the harder bosses and elites, who tend to drop lots of berries and repeat smuggler loot.
