Yes you can, and no it will not , just remember it only reduces Ranged damage.

yes PSG with energy resist absorb some of the damage with sabres, mine has 1921 to energy. You can get better but this one has +10 to both melee/ranged acc.

if you don't have a mabari belt stuffed with excellent tapes - an ADK'd pre-cuPSG is definately the way to go against jedi.

ive been told that the the LS damage goes through the PSG, and that it only works for ranged energy weapons. But thats alot of he said she sadi crap. So i was wondering if any one knows for a fact.... DO PSGS BLOCK LS ATTACKS?

I cant ADK my PSG is that becuase it might be post CU? it says only itmes that are insurable can be ADKed

I think its fair to say it does, if the base damage on the LS is energy and your PSG resists against lightsabres then i am guessing it does, since i have used mine i havent had any high damage against sabres, i suppose i could experiment and fight jedi with and without it on.

I think that was the whole reason Ligh Sabre damage was changed from just Light Sabre damage to Energy so we could get some resist against them. I could be totally wrong of course. If a PSG with energy resist doesnt work then that would mean armor with high energy resist would ge useless also.

PSGs do not resist melee attacks including lightsabers. For proof I will submit that I always wear one in case of NPC attacks or the jedi pulls a rifle. If PSGs did absorb lightsaber damage I would've gone through hundreds. As it is, I've replaced 1 since the CU.

Fair enough, i am still gonna do some experiments to see for sure though

I've noticed that the new npc missions are tearing my psg's up. the boss marks decay the pgs by about 1k each mission.
