Thread: Loot nerf?
I have been playing all day, as in about 9 hours now. I have done about 40 rebel large base missions. Killed about 35 surface marshals and about 100 other rebel npc. The best loot i got all day is a dlt20a rifle with an action poison(the rifle sucks btw).
I noticed two things, i get a lot more crappy loot and a lot less credits, as in i get 20 credits max, and mostly 2 or 3 per npc killed. This is really weird, before i was able to make about 10k on the side just from loot, now its pointless to loot basically. Now the surface marshalls, 20 dropped dh17 carbines, the rest were either money or nothing at all. Now i know it was not common to get a holocron before, but i know i should have gotten one at some point after abut 20 marshalls.
Did anyone else expirience this? Where in the patch notes did they say that it would be impossible to loot anything, let alone a holocron?
The really sad thing is that I seem to be getting more crap from meatlumps and ragtags than ever now when I was trying out my republic blaster. I only got 2-5 credits off of them. It seems like every patch makes the loot situation worse.
The dev's definately don't have the risk vs. reward philosophy that the EQ dev's have.
There is less and less incentive to play this game, maybe this is what they have in mind??? /shrug

I'm an MBH, but climb other trees (I love to play other classes like architect and such while keeping MBH for PvE - I can regrind MCM in one night, anyway)
I can still get rare, single white bar,bosses (not elite) and the loot seems to be okay still.
I can still get the mandolorian plating a good 1/4 of the time, and that's about 30 a pop on a vendor.
It might be nerfed on the high end, but on the MBH/??? end, life is still okay.
As if on cue, somebody once again has to post thenightly "Did they nerf the loot?" thread.
