I have been developing a new technique (new for me not saying it's new for other BHs) thatI would like to share.
Obviously if you have rifles in your temp it's not for you. This assumes Pistol and MCM. This also assumes lair grinding out on Dantooine or similar activity.
It gives up scouting and alpha strike for sheer unbalanced surprise (unbalanced because the surprise might be yours). It's a bit Indiana Jones and here is how it works:
I stop 600M from my target. I eat my foods, start my duelist macro and hop back on bike. I bring up map , then ride in at full speed , zeroing on the group , I am now flying in at full speed and time the "store" of the bike at the right moment. If done correctly you end up in a full sprint just a few meters from the Jedi. The Jedi has zero preparation time, he might also be aggrod with lair creatures. Start with a KD to add to the surprise and them follow up with ADV crit, and torso, as Jedi gets up start laying states. It's worked the lasthalf dozen timesI have tried it with full temps ( pics in sig).
Have fun if you try it. I also have done plenty of hunting and stalking so I don't want to get cirtizied for not doing it, just tyring something new that coincidentlaly has worked to perfection twice. The first time the Jedi had the lair aggrod and he did not have time to get away, the second time was against a full temp that has cloak and he had not time to use it as I used KD, stopping shot etc and stayed near him the whole time. I am convinced that the sheer speed of the attack produced the victories.

Yeah thats simple and effective. Usually the major downfall BH have is trying to be sneaking and end up giving the Jedi too much of a 'heads up'. Sometimes lag will have your ass with this tactic though, should you hit a lag pocket when trying to store the bike and end up overshooting the mark by 100m. Also beware, it doesn't allow you much recon on the Jedi or the surroundings, you may find yourself swooping right through a nest of grumpy bocatts before you hit your mark, which is unpleasent to say the least.

Exactly , and your template is different so it works either way then. Congrats on your kill Akast.

usually when as soon as im able to tab onto my jedi mark on dantooine, I get a tell saying come get me , or i see the distance between the jedi and me get bigger and bigger. bottom line is as soon as i'm close enough to tab into them, they do the challenge duel exploit. Speeders are only 20k, and considering i dont bh for the money, i just speed over to the jedi and /dismount, and usually the jedi is so surprised he never disables my speeder bike.

That was exactly why I started doing it Rishton. I really feel now that surprise trumps any other form of attack...

the lag when storing a bike sucks. it happens a lot and i look like a moron flying around in circles waiting for the bike to store. it totally ruins my alpha strike lol.

Make a new button.
/dismount:
/ui aciton toobarSloot <where ever your bike is>;
You almost always dismount right away. Then if the bike store is in lag, you have the chance of the Jedi targeting your bike on a panic tab while it is storing and you are shooting.
