Thread: Bounty Hunter / Ranger Looking So Good
- Ranger pre-requisites are to be Scout - Explore 4, Marksman - Carbines 4
- Ranger will get general accuracy, speed bonuses etc. similar to BHs.
So, a BH / Ranger Combination could get pretty good weapon mods, access to Proton Carbine and of course BH specials. You could add Medic 0020 for heals and spend more skill points for Carbines, or go CM 4000 like most others.
Add to this the Ranger Cloak, traps etc., I see a lot of dead bounties.

Well, I know for sure that the new Ranger skills will be awesome, no matter what ends up getting put in game in the end. But, I do not think that mbh/mranger will be an efficient Jedi hunting template. IF Ranger is getting all these speed and accuracy mods as it sounds, then possibly yes it will be efficient. My thoughts are however, with lowered skill point requirements and the huge amount of cool new skills they are getting, I have the feeling it would becomea little unbalanced by adding all the speed and accuracy.
I see ranger as a finesse profession relying on stealth and surprise and lacking serious offensive firepower. Now, look at MBH, not bad offense there but when you team it up with MRifles/pistols/carbs and even CM you have something that can take a Jedi. BUT MBH alone with what I'm almost certainRangerwill be, is no good and uneffecient (insanely fun perhaps) at hunting Jedi merchandise.
The class will no doubt be very cool and have very good skills, I do not think thought it would be wise for a MBH to use it for a secondary master. And time will show whether or not it might be good to dabble in, which I think might end up being the case.
I, too, hope to get some clarity on the placement of mines. I.e. How many.

btw, as long as BHs are getting every other Jedi skill, you guys should go cry to the Devs until you have FR3 and AI too.
That way you'll be sure not to die on your little 'hunts'.
