Were are these ?

i know of the spot in north west of Yavin but most the time there is nothing there. I'm thinking there has to be some were else in the game tha these spawn so if anyone could post the cords for me I'd greatly appreciate it

They can spawn anywhere, however there are lots of other things that can spawn randomly, so it is rare that they appear. There are two things that can increase the likelyhood of finding them:

1. The server spawns more mobs in areas where there are lots of players, and spawns very few in areas where there are few players.. this keepsthe serverrunning efficiently - there's no point in it making and simulating mobs that no player will see. So if you go to an area where there are normally lots of players (West and South of the Mining Outpost, or around the Geonosian Biolab) there will be more spawns, more spawns being destroyed, and therefore more chances that Black Suns will appear.

2. You can go to a quiet area of the jungle and make a waypoint. Then using that waypoint as a guide, start killing everything around it for a range of say 250 meters. The more spawns you kill, the more spawns the server will be forced to replace - and obviously, each time it replaces a spawn, there is a chance that Black Suns will be picked to fill that place.

When I was hunting for BH armour, I used method 1 in conjunction with Ranger Tracking 4. This allowed me to cruise around a selection of waypoints near the Mining Outpost and the Geo Lab, doing an Areatrack at each one to see if any Black Suns were around. I hunted for them every day for about 2 weeks, and got 30 pieces of armour.

just drive around the north west quarter of the map on the landspeeder.

Just keep working at it. It's not easy. you just have to be willing to take the time.

I collect 8 of the 10 armor pieces (10th being the belt) and the jetpack base in this fashion.

There is a static spawn of Black Sun on Endor at -131 -24. There are also SBDs and Death Watch spawns around the area too.

You can solo the Black Sun if you are buffed and armored. The assassins hit the hardest.

I took a trip to Yavin yesterday and eventually found the Black Sun mobs I was looking for. Unfortunately, I died after killing only one of them.

I am 2443 right now, and used to solo them all the time with Master Swords. Naturally I had Doc/Dancer buffs and was full of brandy and canapes and was wearing 80% kinetic armor and used a good scythe. I didn't think there would be that big of a difference between 2443 and Master Swordsman.

Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to ask for a little advice about killing these guys; I honestly didn't think I would kick the bucket that quickly.

i take on all of em up to the assassin i think is its name. i got to 0,0 on endor and kill everyone but the wraiths and SBD. i use a pretty crappy scythe and have no problem killing them. You might have been unlucky and ahd one pull a stun baton (even possible?). anyways i always check my armor and make sure it can take a beating. have a pixie ready just in case. i pop 2 brandy's. if i have dancer/music buff (which you should) youll be set with those. (1500 focus=1 mind point per attack). just decide your method. Henchmen you can just wail anyold way you should have no problem but the assassin (or ghost dont remember which is the hard one) you either 1.) all mind or 2.) 2h hit/ try to dizzy. i personally use the mind way. intim, mindhit 1 and 2, intim again, 9 headhits, intim, 9 headhits, intim, minhit 1 and 2, 4headhits, intim, you get the point. keep him intim'd. since your most likely not speed capped itll take longer but just use mindhit 1/2 if you can and head hit when you can and just do your best. if your health drops below 500 pop the pixie. thats when its desicion time. if hes close to dieing you can A.) pop either accragm (sp food that buffs stamina) or won-won (i think food that buffs health) sub stats for quicker healing. YOu can also pop a vercupti if you have room. if hes over halfway alive run your as soutta then. heal up then round two after the pixie downer is gone. Hope this helps and if you notice high amounts of damage from the get go run away. unequip/re-equip your armor you might have an armor hole bug

nice

just want to point something out

if you're not speed capped then it'll be less than 9headhits between intim's

just keep it intim at all times and go for mind at all times

i dont seem to have any problem with these guys... i aggro the 4 henchman and the assasin at one time and dont seem to have any probs. but isnt the ghost a detah watch guy, not a black sun? Hes a different story, I can solo him fine, but if I aggro more then just him I tend to move till we are alone.
