I've just started playing again since the last CU, and im completely lost. I currently have a pistoleer who ive been starting to mix with bh and im wondering... What does everyoneare some good professions or combat templatesfor a bounty-hunter today? About 90% pvp 10% pveare wat my interests would be. The ability to actually kill jedi is a must. Thanks foranyadvice, I imagine its something like swordsman or fencer that I should do though right?

This question has been posted 101 times over the last week. But since the CU a MBH with a master of a ranged prof seems to be the way to go. It is down to personal pref weather you go rifle, pistol, or carbs. I was MBH/M rifle with some pistol and that was great. I have now swapped the litle pistol i had for some CM healing and it is even greater for my playstyle.

For me MR MBH CM 4000 is the way to go. It is very hard to take down jedi without being able to heal beond just using stim packs

so rifleman, combat medic and bh. why master bh though? I thought that wasnt necessary more like waste

MBH gives you some pretty decent defense Plus the certification to use hight capacity scatter pistol
But MCM MR bh 3-0-0-0 would probably be a pretty good template. Rifles for high damage, Combat medic to tank and heal.

I am Master BH/ Master Carbs/ Pistols 0404.. And I do awesome.. PvP, PvE, anything. But my friend is master bh/master rifles/pistols 0404, and he does good too. It's really just a matter of opinion. I like the carb's specials, but he likes being farther out of range. Really, if your a bh, your good at carbs, pistols, and rifles, just pick a profession to pick up on, because bh don't offer much without it.

And you have this template:
MBH, MP, Squadleader 0404.
SL will give you some defences and bonuses when grouped with a droid or a mate.
General ranged speed +15
General ranged acc. +30
Melee/ranged defence +55 (Both)
Group ranged defence +25
And you can use the tach pistol and do some intense camping. lol

The most common BH templates I have seen are:
Mrifle/MBH/pistols xxx3
Mrifle/MBH/CM 4xxx
I'm Mpistols/MBH/CM 4xxx
