Thread: Idea to bring some balance among BH/Jedi

Hi, so I was driving home from school and this idea hit me out of no where.
All Jedi hate the fact that they lose a butt load of experience everytime they are killed by a Bounty Hunter, so I thought:
What if SOE or whoever is in charge up there granted the jedi a cut on theexperience lostwhen he/shechooses toactually fight the BH back, and when the jedi does NOT attack back (by this I mean...runs away) he/she looses the same amount of experience as normally taken off.
I haven't fully thought this idea through; I just wanted to get it out on the table. I feel that a jedi who stands and fights me should be given this opportunity, soI propose that if a jedi stands up, fights, and dies, he should be given atleast a 50% cut on the experience lost. This just seems like it would decrease on a lot of issues, like jedi running into their houses.
I understand this idea can use some major tweaking, so I want to know what you all think.
...Oh god...Please don't let them flame me.
I think Jedi should have the option to run without penalty. They should be able to hide in their own house as long as they have not engaged in combat. A runner can be a lot more fun anyway. I love a good cat and mouse chase across the galaxy, now that feels a lot more Star Warsy than sniper shotting a grinding jedi covered in agroed bols.
If you cant be bothered with that try marks that are 180k+ they are more inclined to fight than run in my experience
I would suggest that it be a Jedi's FORCE and not actually his XP which takes a hit.
Should a BH take down a Jedi, that Jedi takes a long term hit to their force which would recover over time - or maybe through kills (some process which the Jedi must actively pursue)?
Either way, a Jedi would not quite feel like every death from a BH takesfrom thema week's worth of play. There would still, however, remain a strong enough incentive not to getting killed (i.e: getting on the terms). Andthe incentive would hopefully bebalanced well enough thatit be against aJedi's interest tocollaborate with a BHand rack up bounty cash.
Additionaly, a fully templated Jedi would, using this system, stand to lose something too, making the whole BH/Jedi thing an issue which affects Jedi throughout their whole career.
