Here is what I have been doing, and you can try it if you like. It really all depends on your template and how comfortable you are with your abilities. If you go to a cantina, and generally around most busy towns, you will find many jedi showing off their powers and generally making a spectacle of themselves. When you see one, go to the mission terms, grab their mission and go back to them, and attack them. There. Easy. No hunting, no worrying about hiding. No Kashyyyk, no houses. None of that.

It works. And if you are good enough, you might even win.

Excellent idea, also I find that bounties over 180k tend not to run or hide but will actually fight back.

This is the same principle as with Rryatt but I must ask how you guys do it. A few days ago I scouted the trail and found some AFK ers. Zip back to terminal. I actually timed it. 1h 12min before I found him. Yesterday I did the same, 46 minutes.

We really needed to give people the experience of being Han Solo or Luke Skywalker rather than being Uncle Owen, the moisture farmer. We wanted more instant gratification: kill, get treasure, repeat. We needed to give people more of an option to be part of what they have seen in the movies rather than something they had created themselves."

I will go to a cantina and wait. usually a jedi will pop in after some time. when he does size him up, go out and get his mission, and come back for him.

Lol that is why BHs have been asking for the title "Master Refresher". As a little clue, your potential mark is always on the page you passed when you accidently clicked "refresh" button twice

I've nailed a few while they where running around pvping in NPC towns. I've never gotten the DB though since I'm kiting them and they go after the closest person.
You'll be surprised how fast you can turn a fight when you can attack a Jedi and their buddies can't attack you.

Maybe you misunderstood, what I meant was that the terms unless you get very lucky will keep you refreshing until your mark logs out. I also see some name cycle a lot. Is it really randomized? One might start to wonder. Maybe lvl. plays a part.

Not to nitpick, but when your only weapon is a lightsaber or force powers, how are you supposed to defend yourself or fight without being considered a showoff? Is everyone who shoots a gun in Theed showing off as well?

Pity this is going away (names are going to be removed from the mission). So enjoy it while you can becauseyou will have to start working again for your blood money.. LOL.

Point of fact: You are a jedi, you are supposed to be in hiding, not flashing your saber around in public.

If you are waving the glowstick expect to get on the terms. I generally leave padawan alone but if I see one playing with his saber in town I consider him fair game and add him/her to my 'ok to hunt' list because I consider his/her actions blatant and the fact that said padawan is on the terms their own fault for being stupid about their visibility.

If you don't want to be hunted don't fight in public.

My stance:

Once names come off the terms (if they do indeed do that) I won't honor any agreements not to hunt particular jedi. I already warned my guild that any treaties where I'm expected not to hunt a certain guild's jedi are out the window if I can't see their name on the terms. I REFUSE to spend hours tracking down a mark and then have to dump the mission just because his guild doesn't want me hunting him.

I suspect most other BH's feel the same way. Right now I have a list of the names of jedi from allied/treatied guilds that I do not hunt if I see them on the terms (I even warn them when I see them). If the names vanish from the terms all bets are off. Including not hunting rebel jedi. Sorry, if I can't keep a list of rebel jedi in my datapad to check when I see a mission I'm NOT spending hours finding a mark only to dump a mission.

Personally I think the removal of names from the mission term is a bad bad bad idea.
