Thread: i dont understand
Hello to the swrodsman forum. I'm a novice 2hand swordsman currently wielding a vibro axe. But, long before this I've noticed that no matter where I stand in relation to a target I'm looking at a huge negative modifier to hit in melee range.
I guess I dont understand that. Why do I have a -38 modifier to hit when meleeing? Is it to represent the all or nothing attitude of using 2 handed weapon? Big Damage or Big Miss kinda thing. It's just plain crummy that I have to wade into monsters, take hits and suffer a negative hit modifier at the same time. I mean, if I were weilding a rubber chicken or something ok, -38 it is, but when I'm using the weapon typeI've trained 5 boxes in already I would think I would stand a better chance at hitting something..
Anyone else find this odd? We are all ready limited to melee range (duh!) so we cant kite like marksman can and dont have much range at all to work with. Why am I being punished to work within melee range like this? Do the other brawler class's suffer this same negative hit penalty like we do?
well, I'm sure PvP is skewed not in our favor, but I'm not really a PvPer. Any idea why we get negative hit modifiers? Do ANY other professions stay in the negative modifers at all times?
Why doesnt the BH missions payout increase depending on the planet the target is on? If you run a normal mission you'll notice the payout increases the farther the target is (most all the time, but sometimes you'll get lucky). Also some planets, such as Lok, or endor the targets dont run to cities.. they just run father out into the boonies.. why dont these planets payout a buttload? Running 7km+isnt worth the 2-4k I make. So whats the answer? wait dont tell me *delete mission*.... I hate this solution. I do it, but I hate it.

Also, why when I buy a deed are the pets stats maxed, but when i tame look like 0 (15). Does that mean he is going to grow to CL15? Also, lets say he grows to CL15. Can I no longer take him out if I dont gain another box is CH?
TIA.
The key word is buy, he's buying a bio e pet.
You are correct, once he reaches CL15 you will not be able to call him unless you gain additional levels.
The reason that it shows full stats when you buy is that those are the stats the adult will have. When you first tame the creature it will be a baby and thus much lower ham/damage.

NEARLY MCH (only 60k more to go)
you can not tame a baby that will grow to a higher difficulty level than you can currently control. i.e. a Greater Sludge Panther baby will grow to be a lvl 25 pet, you will not be able to tame a GSP baby until you have the ability to control a lvl 25 pet.
