Bounty Hunter Archive
Thread: Oops! My bounty last night...
So I get a mission for a pretty tough Jedi mark, who is of course, on Kashyyyk.
Before I get started going from instance to instance on the Webweaver path, I had an idea. I would try to find some kind of 'window of opportunity through these forums.
So I ran a forum search for my mark's name, and sure enough, he was all over the auction boards selling skill tapes.
So I send him a /tell, (which I rarely do) and I ask him about buying some.
Long story short, he tells me to meet him to buy the ones I need. He tells me he is, as we all guessed, on the Webweaver path, and instance 4.
So now I have his location, and the most important factor of the hunt: the element of surprise.
As soon as I get to the Webweaver path, I put all my armor on and burst run through the spiders and feral wookies. I make it to the end of that part unharmed, and there is my mark. So I target him, eat my foods, and /concussion shot, /underhanded shot, /critical shot, /torso shot, /critical shot.....DEAD.
Never underestimate the element of surprise and some good recon my friends.

i trick the noob jedi by taking there name off my friends list after i have them in sight, then i change my title to novice medic
they dont even see it coming

Oh yes...this is a must in every situation. Novice Medic is actually suspicious, though. It's TOO noobish. I display something like "Slicer" or "Apprentice Sharpshooter". Novice Medic deep in the Ryatt Trail sends up a red flag.

The MBH tag while hunting is like a neon sign above your head saying "RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY". I use a RM tag like "Sniper" usually (I am not going to get away with "novice brawler" while lvl 80 andcarrying a T21 lol). My friend has BH 4444 but wont get MBH because of the badge. All these things have become a bit irrelevant these days though with the duel/endduel bug
Good show, good show.

What surprises me, if the Jedi was "tough" there should'nthave been any issue to /forceheal, /valor, /forceheal, /forceInfusion, eat synthe, /forceWave, /forceHeal, before turning you into dirt. It seems you may have found someone who was just stacking their exp into the lower levels so they can use a /token to cash in on the lower exp conversions.
