(Let's keep this thread on the subject of when a Jedi actually stands their ground and attacks back. We all know about the annoying behavior of /offerride and the trailer parks so let's keep this based on BH vs. Jedi tactics for those who may be having issues or are confused.)

My primary build for Jedi is:

LM, Defender 3044, Healer 4000, Enhancer 2002. (I have alot of room to further enhance this temp)

When I first get an encounter from a BH I spend the first 10 seconds in defense mods and use this time to size up my opponet. I NEVER use a macro and am a strong believer against them in combat. My first actions consist of /valor, /heal, /aura (if melee is involved), /forceSpeed, /forceRun1 (this is basic movement enhancemetn that allows me to close gaps inbetween roots, I leave it active almost the entire time).

Once I got everything set for my basic defenses I go to planB; Mandowine with exo-protein wafers and melee acc food.

By then I should have a good assesment of my aggressor; are they using CM, rifleman, carbineer with states, what's hurting me, what do I need to do to prevent their ability to harm me (killing them is a no brainer although I look at things through a large window of opportunities)

I'll generally start with /forcewave to reduce movement of the BH. This allows for about 30 seconds of control, not much but it can reduce availble options for the BH. (some my also get nervous if they're green)

I NEVER NEVER NEVER attempt to get a KD in without landing a series of states on the aggressor.

Offense mode1: stick.../ab, /blind, /stun, /dzzy, /bleed (bleed kinda sucks although the more states on the aggressor the better chance I have at winning the pshycological aspect of the confrontation. Just need to wait for them to slip up)

Offense mode2: replace /ab if needed, /root if needed, /sweep (here's the KD) then follow through with a nice combo starting with /powerattack and a few others that do not share the refresh timer. I'm normally able to land 2 attacks in this fassion.

At this point I maintain a defensive roll while attmpting to control my target through /snare and /root. (yes, BHs run away too.)

After the incap I normally have two options. If the BH was a rock'n player they do get the DB on the first incap and a hefty /tip for their time. If they were totally noobish and I consumed next to no force I will let them up to reheal and make them aware they have another shot and they should use it as practice and try an alternate method of engagement; the green BH still gets their /tip.

*EDIT: I never use LoS exploits nor do I /duel a target or placeanyone other then a "friend" on my friends list. In the past I had "stayed" in a house if I was unable to do anything and would not run back-n-forth to the house which was a permanent structure. Pre-cu I would intentionally list myself on the terms just for the engagement even though I was unable to handle an average BH temp and on "almost" all occasions the BH would send flames and childesh rants about Jedi being ****** ******* ****** and that I was a noob for being on the terms. (even though it was intentionally done)

May the force be with you.

LOL It's all good.

Seriously though, as long as I don't get EVERY kid on the server pulling my mission just for a free tip or start having BHs throw a fight...

The last one who came for me; let him get up to heal and I used basic /saberstrike and /saberhit on him. My first impression being to see how many wounds I could give him or how large of a chip I could put in his armor. Then I felt bad 'cs armor is soo darned pricey these days.
