i was wondering if PSGs held anything over a belt? I mean this psg i have is 2200 energy resist and looks cool when someone shoots me. But the belt I have is 5000 somthin in all resists. Is the psg anything special or should i wear the belt? I dunno if it worked differently, cause if the belt is > then what good are psgs?

I don't think the PSG does much against the Jedi anyway. I far prefer the belts with armor stats on them. Plus you can stick attachments in the belts... can't do that with a PSG.

belts can have armor values? since when.
Pre-CU you used to be able to make Padded Armor belts with stats, however they don't do anything. The only reason to wear a belt over a PSG is if you want more sockets for SEAs. A few people pre-CU claimed that belts with armor stats gave protection, but no one was ever able to give any proof to back up there claim.

I'm currently testing whether or not I need a PSG for BH npc marks. I was using a 1900+ nrg PSG but recentlyacqurieda preNerf mabari armorweave belt. So far, nothing dramatic. I take slightly more damage but have yet to be incapped nor been required to use any form of healingbysilver or gold chevron marks.

They actually do alot against Jedi who use "ranged" energy attacks. Jedi with Force Powers are considered ranged. Jedi saber throwing are considered range (I have to check this again tonight to see if this changed).
Once your within 6 meters, the attacks are considered melee, so the PSG does nothing.

BUY PSG'S!!!! Not only do I make them and want you to buy them I also am a MBH and can tell you I sell quite a few to Jedi. A defender and I did a test once, with a PSG? I did (no joke) about half the damage I did to him without a PSG.

All lightsaber attacks are of the type "melee energy". This includes Saber Throw. PSGs do not help against LS.
Force Wielder attacks are of the type "ranged kinetic" or "ranged elemental" as far as I know, PSGs do not help, either.

The Imp prototype psgs have +10 to ranged and melee acc. That can save you some money on your car insurance.

They are talking about belts with CA slots. Presumably a belt with 4 sockets can have 4 different +25 stats. So if you are that extravagantly rich, you can have a +25 Rifle speed, accuracy and General ranged speed and acc.
