Thread: Is this High Capacity Scatter Pistol worth slicing?

I am unaware of what to look for on pistols when thinking of if an item could be sliced and very good. I just looted this and thought I would ask.

I wouldn't bother. Mine is 948 max damage if that helps you figure out what you should have.

That is a decent grinding scatter if you ask me. Being that BH NPC missions drop Booster Cores and Triggers fairly commonly *and* one can provide the smuggler in question with the simple tool kit (for a full damage slice) and/or finely crafted toolset (for full speed slice) for less then 50k one could have such a weapon sliced for no more then 50k (bringing the total to 100k). Personally I would stick it in a full damage slice which would up it to 355 - 710 and base DPS of 253...
Again, not a Jedi killer but a decent grinding pistol
For a Jedi killer you need a scatter that is atleast close to cap in damage (948 I think) with no more then 2.2 in speed and 80 in SAC. Keep in mind that is my own personal bear minimum.

It's a nice gun for a loot but I would leave it as is. You want to slice something that is already near the damage cap (948)and slice for speed or critical hit instead.
